This is a temperature limiting thermostat that limits AC to no lower than 72 degrees F and heat no higher than 73 degrees F. I used it when I rented my home to ensure renters did not abuse the HVAC system. I never had a complaint from a renter so I think the limits kept them comfortable and I am told that Disney has the same limits at their hotels in Orlando. I no longer rent my home so I don't need it anymore.
