DYRLUND Mid Century Danish Modern Teak TABLE and 4 CHAIRS, 2 Table LEAVES
Dyrlund brand. Made in Denmark teak table, 2 table leaves with felt bags, and four chairs. Flat table sections are teak veneers over solid wood(mahagony? edge band on table and all other elements of table and chairs are solid teak. I would guess this table is from circa 1970. Table and leaves are 3/4" thick. Table apron 1 1/2" thick and table legs 2" thick. All pieces are in very good shape, but show normal wear. The table surfaces are a bit dry and would improve tremendously with a good application of teak oil. The chair seats are in nice shape. I assume they have been recovered at some time. Table is 28" high and 47" in diameter. 87" long end to end with both leaves installed. Chairs are 30 1/2" high at back with 17 1/2" at the seat. Seat is 19 3/4" wide and 18 1/2" deep. Table leaves are ... morebeautifully bookmatched and the chairs and table section are joined with contrasting(rosewood? inserts. Table and table leaves have quality solid brass receiving holes and pegs to give a solid and quality surface. Latches underneath add to the quality and give a very solid table when fully extended. This is a fine piece of Danish modern furniture from Dyrlund. The round shape works very well with smaller spaces. Yet the leaves enable you to have seating for eight when you need it. Korean masterpiece: inlaid round formal table with corner-chairs, appraised
This set was appraised at US$27.000. A shame I have to let it go. This is from the Appraiser's report(which I can provide) An exquisite round table and four matching round-back corner chairs with exquisite mother-of-pearl inlay decoration. The round table is of waisted construction. The four cabriole legs terminate with claw feet. The table is finished with an antiqued opaque lacquer finish. White brass mounts with incised designs ornament the aprons and reinforce structural joints. The tabletop panel is recessed for a protective glass panel. The tabletop features modern artistry in the medium of traditional Korean mother-of-pearl inlay. A pattern of scrolling arabesques encircles the central panel. Which features writhing dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl over the Immortal Isle of Penghu. The table is of recent manufacture. And the ... moreunderside bears an inlaid signature reading'Minh 60/150' indicating a numbered work within a limited production. There is minor lifting of the mother-of-pearl around the tabletop frame that is likely related to the dry atmosphere. The round back'corner chairs' are finished with an identical antiqued opaque lacquer finish and are styled with refined motifs associated with Central Asia and the Middle-East: The arm- and backrests terminate with brass ram heads and inlaid winged sphinxes of Egyptian style. And the seat panel is inlaid with a tracery medallion of Persian style. The mother-of-pearl inlay work also reflects the artistry of modern Korean masters. The underside of the four chairs each bears a unique inlaid signature reading'Minh 250/2' Minh 250/67, Minh 250/68' and'Minh 250/126' suggesting numbered works within a limited production of 250 chairs. The set will need to be shipped in formed-foam padding in crate by a specialty antique shipper that I have used before. Estimated US$500 North America. US$1000 overseas. This auction is for a oak table and set of four chairs in the mission style. I am not sure what its purpose was for being this small i think it was a salesman sample. the table is about 19" long and is 9.5" wide and stands 7 3/4" tall the base is al mortised together and has stretcher that runs the lenght of it. oak has nic epatina and is in great condition. there is also 4 chairs all made the same with nice oak and they are about 12" tall/ all 4 are in perfect condition. it is made of oak and the corners are all made by putting the wood through the post( forgot what it is called) It is a great table and chairs. if you have any questions just ask. also listed a settee bench made the same from the same home. will combine shipping It looks like a stickley bench we had years ago. There are no markings, could be copper; 2 1/2" tall decanter, again, no markings, could be brass; four 1" tall goblets, no markings, could be brass; four 2 1/2" stools/barber chairs, no markings, could be brass; one 4" oval table, no markings, could be brass; and last but not least a"trench" Surelite lighter. This is probably from World War II. It is approximately 3" tall, U.S. patent 1022140 and"Austria" are engraved on it. I have no idea how to operate it so cannot verify that it is in working order. Vintage 1950's Children's Doll Ice Cream Table and Chairs Set
This is a classic vintage 1950's children's set of doll house-style table and two chairs which I believe are referred to as an ice cream table and chairs set. Ideal for small children to play on with large-sized dolls. They are compeltely made of good old American steel. The table is 14" tall and has a metal surface that is 10" round. The two chairs are again all metal and are 9" to the seat and the metal seat is 4" round. They feature the twisted iron seat backs typical of ice cream parlor chairs of the era. The set was painted a solid red color when we got them and they are still that color. In EXCELLANT condition. With no dents or abuse visible. Pretty much indestructible. No visible trademarks or indications of who made them. Sorry, but neither of the two dolls shown or tea cups shown are included or are for ... moresale. paul mccobb planner group dining set - four chairs and table - NO RESERVE!
here is a well-loved vintage mid-century modern dining set designed by paul mccobb for the the winchendon furniture company of massachusetts. the set consists of four cane-backed dining chairs without arms and a table with two leaves. the table measures 37" wide and 66.5" long with no leaves. each table leaf is 15" wide for a total table length of 95.5" the chairs measure 33.5" tall. 22" wide and 20" deep. I believe the design was originally marketed as part of the"perimeter group" by winchendon in the late fifties. And then after a while the design was incorporated into the existing"planner group" line. this example is labeled with the"planner group- designed by paul mccobb- winchendon furniture company- winchendon. Mass" labels. condition: the set is in fairly good vintage ... morecondition and the chairs and table are physically very solid. However there are a number of flaws here and there, including: a) one chair has a split that has been repaired on the back rail. Another chair has some gouges to the back and another to the bottom of the leg. b) the cane on the chairs is intact with a few minor breaks to the weave of the cane in a couple places. there is also a noticeable loss to the finish of the cane in places. c) all of the upholstery on the chairs is stained and should be replaced. d) the table has losses to the veneer on the edges and some minor splits in the wood on the legs. the table is photographed without the center leg structure in place(which is pictured separately) this center leg structure has one warped leg(please see picture) e) the two table leaves have discoloration to their surfaces and losses to their veneer. f) all of the chairs and the table have additional minor scuffs and scratches and dings. overall the dining set could use professional refinishing and/or cleaning. this dining set is sold AS-IS with no reserve! please ask first if you have any questions- I would be happy to provide more pictures of any details if you like- jus

Hey. Let's be completely honest with each other. I have no idea if these pieces are French Provincial, Hollywood Regency, Mid Century or what. The chairs and the cabinet are all pretty strong. No painfully obvious wobble in the chairs. The table top is a very shiny washable surface that might be a plastic laminate of some sort. There is a leaf for the table. You get four chairs and the china cabinet. Now about that china cabinet. With the exception of the carving in the top drawer this looks a lot like Danish modern to me. If the carving on the china hutch didn't match the carving in the chairs I might have thought it was from another ... moreset altogether. So there you have it. What I know for sure. This auction is for 14 pieces of antique dining room furniture, which includes 3 table leaves& 2 custom fitted glass tops. The style is Chippendale. The wood is mahogany. This set is from the early 1900's. It was purchased by the current owner in the early 1960's. There is a picture. Which will be included of the original owner) The furniture pieces are a breakfront. Which is dust proof that stands 80" tall(6' 8" It is 54" long and 13" by 11 1/2" on the top and the bottom measures 14 1/2" by 11 1/2" As you can see by the pictures. The first drawer doubles as a writing desk that can be locked. Although there are no keys available. The drawers are dovetailed. The drawer pulls are brass with a fruit theme. The owner said that just a bit of lemon oil helps them darken up. The glass on the doors is laid into the wood cut outs. This item weighes about 300 pounds per the owner. The buffet measures 62 1/2" long. It is 36" tall and the depth. On the sides 18" deep in the center 18" deep. The 2 side drawers are lined and segmented for your silver. There is a piece of glass. That was made to sit on the top of this lovely item. This item was also fashioned to be dust proof. Now to the table. It is 66 1/4" long. Without the leaves& 44 1/4" wide and stands 2' 6" Including the depth of the glass. The table is in very good pre-owned condition. There is a piece of cut glass to fit on top. CHINESE CARVED CIRCULAR TABLE w/ Marble INSET 19TH Century? - matching chairs
Beautiful carved Chinese table in good original condition. The top is a rose colored marble inset; the wood table with a foliate and floral carved apron. Its column intricately carved with figures, on three claw-feet. The wood is a very dark, almost black wood that I can not identify, maybe teak. The table is 32 in. 83 cm. high; the table top is also approx 32 in. 83 cm. diam. The chairs are also beautifully and intricately carved and match perfectly. They look as though they were recovered between 10 and 15 years ago. They stand approximately 47 in. at the top of the back. I was told that these were shipped from China to the US for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915. The numbered exhibition tag is still on the bottom of the table and may be useful to further identify it. Offered today is this very rare Hoosier Breakfast Set. Oak drop-leaf table and four matching chairs. This table and chair set is from the late 1920's to early 1930's. I found an ad that was dated 1931 in the book"Hoosier Cabinets" By Philip Kennedy that is very similar. This is a genuine Hoosier brand. See picture with label on bottom of chair. The dimensions of the table are: 23" x 37" with the leaves down. And 42" x 37" with the leaves extended. The chairs are complete with no missing rungs or stretchers. However. They have been repaired by an amateur and need to be properly glued. Two of the chairs have metal plates on the underside. This is a classic piece of American history. I would love to keep it. Description Vintage French Dining Table with 6 chairs We are so excited to be able to offer you a few exquisite pieces from a local estate. The consignee is moving and felt they could part with just a few things and that makes this your lucky day! This lovely French dining table and 6 chairs was made especially for her grandfather when they lived in France in the 20's and 30's. It appears to be a lovely oak. The pieces are in very good condition. There are a few spots where the finish has been compromised however some TLC would quickly repair most of those. Besides. I think those things add character! Three of the chairs have the original cane seats and three of them have replacement wooden seats but the holes for the caning are still intact. The table is 73" long with the leaf(which is 30" long) 52" wide and 27 1/2" ... morehigh. The chairs are each 38" high at the back and 17" high at the seat. The seats ore 14" in the back and 17" along the front edge. As you can see by the photos. There has been some repair to the underside of the table to make it sturdier. The table is a Victorian extending diner that works by a winding mechanism at one end(please see close up photo) The table has four leaves each measuring 18 inches so there are numerous different combinations with this table. A leaf is an extra section of the table you can drop in. There are two D ends at either end of the table each measuring 4 feet. You could have just the two D ends together and the table would be round. Fully extended it is 14 feet long- and this would sit 12 people more than comfortably. Perfect for large scale dinner parties and functions. The hand turned bulbous chunky balloon shaped legs are on castors so this table is easy to move around. There is even a leg under the middle of the table which makes it easy when you use the winding mechanism. The finish to the table is gorgeous. Deep luxurious mahogany.
