Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture 3 Chain Shade School Store Courtroom Machine Age
This is an art deco commercial ceiling light fixture. Like you would originally have seen in a retail store, schoolhouse, or courtroom. It doesn't show any maker's mark that I can see. Consists of a brushed pendant housing and heavy 1/4" thick white milk glass shade. There is a heavy duty porcelain socket that accepts the larger mogul base bulbs, but a brand new porcelain adapter is included so you can use standard base light bulbs. There is new wire from the ceiling to the original socket, otherwise no restoration has been done. The 16" diameter shade is in very good condition. The brushed metal finish has a patina of age, but is very good overall(zoom the photos) and could probably be freshened up a bit if desired. It hangs down 36" overall from the ceiling to the tip of the shade, and has a 4 3/4" diameter supply/box ... morecover at top. The shade hangs from the fixture by 3 brass chains. Unique Vintage Schlitz Beer Store Sign Light Changable Menu Price Display
Great addition to the rec room. Man cave, garage! Large sign advertising Schlitz beer was probably used in a store to post the price for six packs. 12oz, cases etc. The sign is made of plastic and metal. It is probably from the 60's or 70's? Not sure. The sign has thin, clear plastic pieces that are movable to advertise what you want. The pieces fit into grooves- the pieces available are shown. The sign measures 35" long x 9" high and 4" deep. It is a lighted sign- has a pull chain on it. The cord is in decent shape. The sign does light up- as shown in photo. I have not opened the back to check innards- I will leave that up to the new owner. There are 2 metal hooks on the top for mounting. The sign has been hanging in a garage for many years, so will need cleaned up. It is not brand new, so does have some wear, but ... moreis not broken. The sign is being offered as is/as shown. Vintage 1920's 11in White Glass Globe Light Fixture Ice Cream Parlor/Drug Store
Vintage white glass globe from a ceiling fan light fixture. These globes are from an Ice Cream Parlor that operated in the 1920's. They mounted below a large paddle fan/light fixture that hung down on a long steel rod from the old tin ceiling. The collar is cast iron. The globe is in good shape. But has some dark paint spots on it. We cleaned some up with a razor blade, so it should all clean up nice for you. The globe is approx. 11 inches round and the base is 8 inches. Up for auction is a vintage and unique lighted display sign featuring GE brand light bulbs. Fluorescent fixture is in excellent condition and still illuminates as it should measures about 4' in length and 1' in width. Sign hung in a paint and hardware store for years that closed down. It has a short pull chain on/off switch up in the frame that could be extended and can either be hung from the ceiling or mounted firmly to a support above. Lenses are in excellent condition as well showing minimal fading or cracks. One lower lens cover has an inch long split along the inside of one corner that is not very noticeable(see photo) Frame looks to be constructed of lightweight aluminum and sign dates from the early 1970s.
