PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. I know very little about Railroad traffic devices. So please look at the photos and ask questions. When I bought this I was told it was a traffic signal and the M- 21 glass in the bottom was a street intersection, but after doing some research it appears to be a signaling device identical to those placed in NY subways. The Wikipedia listing for Union Switch& Signal has a photo of this model, or very similar, in place inside a NY city subway station. Clearly stamped U.S. S Co. Made in U.S.A. Pat. May 1, 1923. It measures 3' in height. The signal is in solid condition and appears to me to be intact. The glass is all in place and I do not see any cracks or hairlines in the glass. The M- 21 glass pieces have a rust stain on the glass. The signal has been over-painted black several times, I assume this was done ... morewhile installed. There appears to be an orange undercoat visible in several places. The wiring is apparently still in place and may be working, it also may need to be re-wired. I have not attempted to light it in any way. Don't know the voltage, but I don't see any reason that it couldn't be made to work again. It has a padlock on it, I have no key and have not tried to remove it. I am not going to ship this item. My first preference is for pick-up only, I am willing to drive about 1 hr from my location to deliver if that is the only other option. If you wish to purchase the signal and arrange for a carrier to pick-it-up, I will try my best to work with your carrier, but once it leaves my hands I accept no responsibility for it. Here is the very nice vintage New York CS. USA Signal Railroad Lantern, Dietz Vesta of New York. The Railroad Signal Lantern has the original NYCS and Dietz Vesta Embossed in the glass of the Red Globe and is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips displays great with very good color. The Metal Lantern has Dietz Vesta embossed into the Metal on top of the Lantern. And the Metal Frame and the Burner of the Lantern has just some normal amount of wear. Good condition.

WW2 US Army Signal Corps Radio Transmitter (BC 604 DM) Federal Telephone...RARE!
You will receive the transmitter that is pictured. It seems to be very rare, cause I can't find another one with the exact model number! I picked it up at an estate sale on 7/11/14, and before that, have never seen one, the guy said that this was originally used on a tank. I don't know much about it. Here is what I know: it weighs like 64 pounds, measures 18"x12"x9" has tons of buttons and switches, most appear to be intact along with the rest of the piece, it also had years of dust on it, so I wiped it down with a very slightly damp rag just to get some dust off to read the tags and other things but it is still dirty and original, I didn't have much water on the rag, definetely not enough to have any water drip in the piece. Just look at pics for the rest of details. I will not make anything on shipping. The estimate ... moreit gives you is accurate! It will actually cost me a few more dollars than what it is charging you. With this being said. I can not accept returns on this piece, it is AS IS. But I swear that I have not tried to turn it on and don't even know where to start! So it may possibly work fine, it may need some work to get it going, or it may be shot! But by looking at it, I think it has about a 90% chance of working but it definitely has it's share of aging, like paint coming off on the back, little rust(but not much) and it could be missing some pieces, I don't know, that is up to you to decide. Please look over my detailed pictures and judge condition for yourself. This vintage Lionel No. 153 is in excellent original condition. There is no damage of any sort on this piece. Frankly. Short of a couple of very slight rubs on the green paint(very hard to see) the piece is virtually mint. There is no rust of any kind on this piece, anywhere. All of the wiring is original, and in excellent condition. The bulbs have good color, with no flaking. The original box is a bit rough. It has both end flaps with tuck in flaps. It has no side flaps on one side. And only one on the other side. The rough side has a serious crease and looks like the box was slightly crushed on the edge.
