They issued an affordable"Folding Pocket Kodak" camera around 1906. This allowed the mass public to take black& white photographs and have them printed directly onto paper with postcard backs. Various other models of Kodak"postcard" cameras followed igniting a real photo postcard era. These cameras shared two neat features: their negatives ... morewere postcard size(the major reason why so many of these images are so clear) and they had a small thin door on the rear of their bodies that. Railroad Train Signal Light ADLAKE Vintage Good Shape
My Uncle gave this to me almost 25 years ago. Its a Railroad signal light made by ADLAKE. Its in good condition for being outside for around 20 years. It does show some wear. but overall its pretty good. It has four lens on it. One white lens one is good. The second one is yellow and has a couple small cracks in it. On the other side the 2nd white has a small imperfection on the lens. and on the next yellow lens it has a crack about 2 inchs long. Also some of the paint on each outer lens assembly is chipped off. What we have here is an antique Morse Code key and sounder on their original wood base. This unit is as found and shows its age. The brass parts will shine up nicely if desired. There is a chip out of the key pad and I think that the stop screw at the end of the sounder bar is not original. Otherwise it appears to be all correct. Marantz 2238 Signal Strength Meter -Tested!!
The problem with my Marantz 2238 was the Fm-Am tuning wheel came when I was getting ready to re-cap it(or replace all of the electrolytic capacitors) I ended up stripping the bolt that attaches the wheel to the frame. Since it's aluminium. It wasn't hard for me to do. It sounded great anyway. But I'm a stickler for detail and the possibility of even 1 bad cap(electrolytic) makes me strive 4 perfection. But that’s me. All the other parts off of this Marantz that are up for sale are going to be easier for the buyer. Since I wont be using the wiring harness on mine. I cut the wires up high so the buyer can And the readings are excellent easily see the color of wire and match it up.
