Vintage Adams Westlake Railroad Signal Lantern Lamp Fuel Oil Pot VERY NICE
Here we have for sale a vintage used Adlake drop in lantern fuel pot. Pot measures 2-3/4" wide and 2-1/4" tall. The all brass burner has a short stem and screws in and out of the tank. Burner is embossed Adlake. No repairs to the pot but it does have 4 or 5 tiny pin holes. These could be soldered shut very easily. I scrubbed this with a brass brush and it is not a rust bucket it is repairable. This was found in a box along with another oil pot recently.

Antique Boat Semaphore Signal Lantern Keystone Ware Here is a great antique semaphore or signaling lantern for boat use. It is made of painted steel. Is about 8 1/2 inches tall, and it has a great magnifying Fresnel lens. Inside is a kerosene lantern with an adjustable wick. A spring loaded shutter can be hand actuated to cut off the light so that it can be effectively used as a signal device. It is marked“BOAT SIGNAL LANTERN” above the lens. I cannot locate a makers mark but it looks like a Keystone(Keystoneware) lantern. I've been told that Dietz made a lantern that was virtually identical in appearance to the Keystone version. Condition is excellent with very little paint loss. Although it is a little dusty. The lens is undamaged, as is the oil lamp. The gate spring is still strong and the shutter functions smoothly. The quality and patina are It is a smaller version of a British naval 24 pounder. Larger ships would carry these for signalling and smaller vessels would use them as swivel guns. It is in original condition and comes with a custom made carriage that is hand made out of period oak. It is even dated 1728 or 1798? Real photo post card from a large estate collection. This card features a Mobile gas station and cafe. The card info on the bottom front reads: Signal Texas at the foot of El Capitan and Signal Peak. Highest point in Texas on US 62 and 180. 6 R-49(possibly 1949? The photo shows the large Mobil Gas Flying Horse sign on a high pole. The pumps are in the shade and difficult to see but they are the very tall cylinder type pumps and have the Mobil sign on the side. Once again I used a magnify glass to see this. The side of the building reads Cafe and Cabins. There is another sign(I had to use a magnify glass) that reads O Henry 5 C. Likely an ad for the cigars sold in the store. WW2 Army Navy Beach Masters Signal Flags CS-90 ww11 D Day
Up for auction is a set of WW2 Beach Master Flags. Khaki/green canvas holdall contains 3 flags, red, yellow and green. All in great condition, no rips or tears etc but is flags are grubby on edges and top section of each flag, which is also stamped on the wooden pole with MC-270. Holdall is in good order, again grubby and marked with age but has no rips or tears e.t.c. and is marked CS-90 and has printed Red, green and yellow corresponding to each flag section. Press stud and canvas attachment clip are a little oxidised but is still in working condition. All in all a nice item to have as part of any collection Will sell worldwide.
