It is incomplete and offered for restoration. The housing is clean inside and out. The filter caps within are disconnected. The power transformer tests OK and the pilot lamp lights up when powered up on my variac. The can filter cap and the vintage rectifier appear to be 1950's vintage replacements. The cap is not wired into the circuit and the power transformer wires are also disconnected. The power supply is untested otherwise. The case is clean and free of rust. The edges are sharp with no nicks. The lettering is perfect. Both meters worked before this unit went dead. All push buttons are intact except for one. The Mark IV is about 27 inches tall by 15 inches wide by 18 inches deep with the shields on and 10 inched deep without the shields on. The light is wired with a normal 120v lamp wire. There are some scratches and some paint chipping along the edge of the light. The light comes with the side/shield pieces that I have removed for shipping they also have some minor scratches. The side/shield pieces are held on by 3 screws that are included. This light has had the T2 Signal Light Control installed. The Lights To Go T2 Walk Light Control module is a 2 by 3 circuit board. Antique Peter Gray & Sons Railroad / Policemans Bullseye Signal Oil Lamp Lantern
Just out of a local house is this antique Bullseye lantern. It was made by Peter Gray and sons of Boston around 1900. I have seen these listed in lantern books as Railroad or Policeman's lanterns. It has a brass handle and the body appears to be tin or galvanized. It has its original font and insert. The insert turns so one could adjust the amount of light the lantern emitted. The lamp stands about 14 3/8 inches to the top of the handle or 11 3/8 inches with the handle down. It measures 5 1/2 inches across the base.It is in good condition with one chip on the bulls eye at about 5 o'clock and the base had 4 holes put in the bottom perhaps to try to generate more of a draft for the flame. EICO SIGNAL GENERATOR Model 324 w Test Leads&User Manual- Works!
This is a working 1950's EICO Model 324 Signal Generator. Frequency range is 150kc to 435mc in six bands. Having obtained this from an electronics trade school. It is in excellent cosmetic condition, as shown in the photos. Included are the test leads and the original EICO instruction manual. For testing, using a digital shortwave radio and the RF Ext Mod Selector, I was able to hear selected zero beat harmonics on various frequencies from 400khz to 30mhz. All harmonics were extremely close to the dial frequency on the signal generator. The Signal Selector switch is somewhat hard to turn, probably needs some lubrication.
