'69 VIETNAM US Army Slant Pockets Poplin Jungle Shirt: 1st Signal Brigade Patch
There were. It seems, two stars(pins) on the collar of this shirt jacket, but they were removed and only a faint mark remains. The name patch was removed as well. The old, kind of rustic US Army patch remains, as well as the patch for the 1st Signal Brigade. A shirt very similar to this one appears on the photo used by Wikipedia for their entry on Major General Hugh F. Foster Jr. Who was the chief of the 1st Signal Brigade during Vietnam. In an amazing coincidence, the shirt worn by General Foster for this photo has, it seems, marks of the buttons on the pockets, in a similar way to the shirt being sold here today. Please check the Wikipedia entry for General Foster to see it by yourself. The patch on the General's shirt is of course similar to the one in our shirt. The 1st Signal Brigade patch is also a bit"rustic" and it has ... morebeen sewn by hand to the shirt. But we do not believe this is a"theater made" patch. But, we must say, we are no experts, so please check the close-up below and you be the judge. The shirt was made by Richard Wynn Enterprises under a contract dated 1969. It is size small regular. It measures as follows. Genuine McCain Traffic Controls durable plastic/ fibreglass housing measures about 15" x 14" x 17" with visor. 12" led light by Duralight is in good working condition. These housings can be used alone as a single light or easily combined to make multi light signals. Used but working pulled from service with some scuffs from normal use but good condition and fully functional. Tested and working- does not come with power cord or sequencer. Genuine Econolight single modular Traffic signal with working 12 inch green arrow led signal light. Plastic housing measures about 15" x 14" x 7" tall. This single housing was part of a multi light traffic signal that was used in the Dallas area. They are modular and can be used alone or if you have two or more they can be bolted together to make multi light signals. They can hang horizontally or vertically. Used black plastic is solid and fully functional but housing was spray painted white on back. With some overs pray to the front front. The paint is starting to crack on back and there are holes in the back where the back plate had been mounted.
