Fox Racing Shox Mountain Bike MTB Air Fork F80 RL 80mm travel shock Enduro seals
This is a sale for a 2005 Fox Float F80 RL solo air fork. It has an 8" steerer tube. Which makes it usable for many bikes. I rebuilt this fork within a year, and I put in brand new Enduro seals, totally cleaned out the old oil, and replaced it. It works great, very smooth, and very plush for only being 80 mm. It has some cosmetic scratches on the lowers(see pictures) but it is in very good condition. This fork has rebound and lockout, and both of them still work. According to my scale it weighs only 3.43 lb. The visible parts of the stanchions are in great shape, only a VERY slight little hairline scratch on one. I did notice when the fork was apart that one stanchion did have some rub below the seal. However you cannot see it with the fork together and it does not seem to affect the function. It does not leak oil, and I find that it ... moreholds air adjustments for a LONG time. It has been a while since I have pumped it up, and it is still where I want it. One other slight issue: I noticed upon taking off my stem that the very top of the steerer tube is slightly dented(see pictures) however, I noticed it just makes putting the stem on a little tighter. It should not affect performance. The bushings in this fork have a slight amount of play, but not bad. Slight issues aside. You should not be disappointed with this fork, it works great. I love this fork, but I am selling it because I have bought a bike with more travel and need to recoup some money. This fork is ideal for somebody looking for a nice XC fork. If interested. Fox Float 32 RLC QR15 140mm 26" New Seals
I am selling a used and in Very Good condition Fox Float QR15 RLC 140mm Fork for a 26" wheel. The steerer tube is 8 3/8" from top of the crown race. I just had it overhauled and new seals installed 2 weeks ago. I rode it 32 miles since. There are no blemishes on the stanchions and just a couple very minor dings where the race meets the crown(See photo) By the lever of the QR15 screw(See photo) a very minor scratch on the back of the right leg(see Photo) and a"dull" spot on one side of the crown(no paint removed- See photo) There are no scuffs on the decals.
