This old switch was bought at an estate auction. Of an outfit that did demolition work of old homes and industrial buildings, and this no doubt was an item from one of those buildings. I'm no electrician, etc. so, I really have no idea how to or where to use it. The face reads: MERCOID- SWITCH, and the front lens is glass. The back has an electrical elbow mounted on back, and inside it has two red wires attached that ran through the elbow, and they were cut when the switch was removed from somewhere. The metal tab attached reads: TYPE DA-21 SERIAL NO. DD 79511 R6 MERCOID REG. U.S. PAT.OFF. PRESSURE CONTROL- VOLTS 115- AMPS 10- VOLTS 230- AMPS 5- 3/4H.P. R.I. 1 H.P. SP. PH. 1/2 H.P.
