This is a used unit. We had it for 2 years and strapped approx 40.000 packages. It is still in working condition. New machines cost $900. There is one exception. We can not get the heat weld and tightening to sync at the correct time. So it is melting the plastic a split second later than tensioning causing the straps to rip prematurely. We have no mechanical skills so we decided to buy a new machine instead. We had no idea so we replaced the heating cool. Fan and circuit board, but it still didn't solve the problem.
