We can not get the heat weld and tightening to sync at the correct time. So it is melting the plastic a split second later than tensioning causing the straps to rip prematurely. MIP-380 PLASTIC STRAPPING TENSIONER, PERFECT COND.
This unit was left to me in a estate of personal belongings. I don't think the unit was ever used. As visable in the last photograph. If you will notice that when the tension handle is pushed all the way down to the roller, witch actuates the cutting mechanism, there has been no wear marks of the roller contacting and rolling along the handle as it does in it's performance. This function works perfectly. The cutting blade shows no signs of use, sharp. There is no damage, stains,scratches. The tool works smoothly, no play, like new. I don't believe the unit has ever been used. I am selling this for parts because the universal suspension mounting bracket is missing on the front. If you need that then see other machines. Other than that it seems to work fine. I tested it on a cardboard box. Foam sheets and firewood. You can see in the photo of a weld from this machine. It kind of rubs the plastic until it melts together I think.
