I rescued this 4"x4" beautiful hand painting from a thrift store. I myself thought it was a great piece! Flawless paint with a special touch of grace and attitude, very characteristic of the great composer Ludwig van Beethoven. You don't get to see this kind of hand painting everyday. The paint is dated as of 1979, and the author is also printed on the paper, but I can't figure who the real painter is, the signature blends in with the lines in the paint and this makes it difficult to reveal the orignal author, but maybe somebody knows more about this paint. I am selling this beautiful piece for(highest bidder) and it's not that I am a greedy guy but I think that the hand paint deserves the price tag, who knows it may be worth more! However, the shaft goes up and down freely. It will need a new rubber seal inside and a new hose to work as it was originally intended to. Has a surface rust that you can clearly see in the 6 pictures posted of all sides. It measurements are approximately; Height 24" Diameter is 1 3/4" The weight is over 3 Lbs. These old vintage bicycle pumps can be used for a variety of unique ways from lamps. Restoration for it's original purpose or just to display it as it is. Up for bids is this primitive-looking. Antique, tin, oil lamp in very good condition. It still has much of its original blue paint and it includes the old, wavy glass chimney. The font is solid and no holes or cracks, there's only minor surface rust which actually enhances its appearance. Wonderful for country-themed decorating, this lamp could also still be put to use with a new wick. This lamp can sit on a table and there's a handle on the side for carrying which also has a slot for hanging on a wall. It will add loads of charm to any room it's displayed in! It stands 13 inches high with the chimney and the bottom has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches. The burner removes for filling and wick replacement. ADLAKE ANTIQUE RAILROAD LANTERN W MOVABLE FRONT OIL BURNER ORIGINAL PAINT NR WELCOME. Today we are offering this old lamp that I have had for ages. It was made by ADLAKE and seems to still have the original black paint on a lot of it. I think this was probably used on the railroad. But you would know more than I. The only marking on it. Is the name ADLAKE on the very top. It stand about 10 1/2" tall and the base diam is 5 3/4" Its fortunate that the burner is still in place and still has its wick too. Which looks really old. The front of the lantern moves up so allow one to put the burner in place and it slides into two groves on either side of the base inside. There is even a slot for the turner of the wick to be tucked away so the front can come down with no problem, and probably adjust the light. Then you slide the front down ... moreagain and the light is protected from wind and it glows through the glass on the front, which as you can see is unfortunately broken. I'm sure that you would be able to find a replacement glass for this. There is a screw that you can remove to take out the glass and put a new one inside it. Its got these two pieces on either side which makes the lantern measure about 8" wide. Please do email with any questions. As I am sure I have not covered everything. Antique Western Cowboy on Galloping Paint Horse Oil Painting signed
Up for auction is an antique oil painting of a cowboy on a galloping horse. It appears that the cowboy has a moustache and is wearing a red bandanna. I was told that it is dated 1915 but I have no proof. It is 10 3/4" by 7 3/4" The surface has a nubby texture. Like linen. It is signed but I cannot decipher it. One of the photos was taken with a flash but the others are in natural light. The wood frame has some damage. Please ask any questions and thanks for looking.
