Supermax CNC milling machine 3HP motor Anilam controls
SuperMax 3-axis CNC milling machine with Anilam Crusader II controller. The mill has a 3HP motor and 9x42 table. I have used this machine for several years. And it works great. The bearings in the motor were replaced about 6 months ago. All axis are tight and the machine holds a good tolerance for the age of the machine. It has the Kwik Switch spindle. The only issue is that the z-axis LED does not dysplay. The z-axis works and can be programmed using the CNC, it just does not show up on the dysplay. The machine can be used in CNC or manual mode. It also can be programmed/displayed in inch and mm scales. The vise shown in the pictures is not included in the price. I can deliver within 100 miles for a small fee or help with loading for free. We got this from the spare parts crib at a very technically elaborate and well maintained candle factory. In the conveyor industry. These are called“Flat Motors” Power required is 24 VDC at 4 amps for 100 watts(around 0.1 HP) 15 in-lbf of torque is available over the speed range of 70– 280 RPM. Speed range using the SMC controller is approximately(my strobe light is broken) 10– 270 RPM measured by stopwatch. The motor is 4.63” dia. by 1.5” thick. Shaft is 0.5” by 2.5” long with a flat. The connecting wire is 22” long with an 8 pin connector that plugs directly into the SMC Starter. We have 6 of the SMC starters listed. It is very simple to use with the Automation controls group UniDrive Model 110165 brushless DC“Flat” Motor. Just plug the motor onto the 8 pin connector. Apply 24 VDC to the power pins, and provide a 24 volt run signal to the round micro connector outside 2 pins. NOTE: The 2 pole power input terminal strip plug is NOT INCLUDED. Speed is set by the small potentiometer. One of the dip switches reverses the motor; the other 3 don’t seem to have any effect.
