For auction is a large side pocket literature or schedule pad holder for the Model 28 KSR or ASR. It is approximate 16 x 10 x 2 inches in size and uses 1/4-20 nuts& bolts to attach to your pre-drilled cabinet side. Left or right. Note that two of the mounting holes are near the top and one is centered at the bottom. I believe this one is standard for the ASR but I am unsure. Examine your machine and look for the predrilled holes. If the holes on your cabinet aren't where you want them, then when you receive your holder, mark where you want it and re-drill the holes. Description: This auction is for a Teletype Model 28 ASR unit's LXD7 Tape Distributor unit(TD) which was made for the US Military(Navy) and the matching ASR front cabinet cover that snaps in place. The tape sending unit itself mounts in front on the left hand side of the operator on a Model 28 ASR. It permits resending of a punched tape as long as that tape is in good condition. The LXD units plug directly into a pre-wired ASR harness and are driven by a mechanical shaft's pinion gear which rotates the unit's input gear. Condition: Very very good.
