This is a used Bridgeport 1 HP vertical milling machine. This machine is working just fine but has a bit of slop in the ways. Power feed does not work. Works great for many applications. when i need accurate milling I dont use this machine. Quill is a tight and does not return automatically. I haven't used the quill feed in 15 years and don't know how. So i don't know if it works. Machine is sold"as is" and is local pick up only. I have a forklift and can load on your truck or trailer from the ground or from a dock. This machine will not go into back gear. I dont know why and dont have time to work on it. You are buying it as is. It works fine in forward or reverse in high gear. I have only cut aluminum and wood and have never needed back gear. Posted with

The computer was only used for this machine so it is not full of other stuff. It does have some other software that I have no clue what it is, E dgecam 2010. Rhinoceros and a G code creating program. None of these programs have been tested by me, since I didn't get into using this machine. This machine is very heavy and fully assembled. I will not be able to ship it, but I do have an engine host so I can help with loading. From what I understand the base can be unbolted and used as a shipping crate. I must state that I bought this machine just as you see it and it was sold to me as is. So I am in turn selling it as is, no warranty. Lot of machine handles mill lathe drill press cabinet Bridgeport Hardinge style
Up for sale is a group of used machine handles. The longest one with the ribbed knob may be a Bridgeport style quill handle. It has a 1" hole in a 1.75" OD ring with a 3/16" drive pin in the one face. We no longer have a Bridgeport here to check it on so I leave the determination up to the buyer on this one. Also included is a straight handle about 6" long on a 3/8" shaft. Threaded on the exposed end with a 1 3/8" ball on the other end. Not sure what it was off of, perhaps an old Clausing or Powermatic drill press? Last item looks like a cabinet lock handle. It has a 5/16" square opening in the end that secures with a setscrew. Up for auction is a used Benchmaster horizontal milling machine. This was made in Los Angeles. CA and it is not Chinese junk. It is probably about 50 years old, and is in very good shape. It has a 1 horsepower motor which is 220 volts, 3 phase with a reversing drum switch. It is belt drive, and the spindle rotates at about 1100 rpm, single speed only. The table measures 18 x 6 inches. The Y-axis(cross feed) has a hand dial incremented in 0.001 inches. The X- left-right feed) and Z- vertical feed) axes have rack and pinion feed for rapid motion. The Z-axis has 2 settable hard stops. This is a secondary operation machine. The overarm and arbor support are included and are in good shape. Overall condition of this machine is very good and has seen relatively little use over the years. It has been sitting idle and covered in a garage for the past ... more15 years.
