We purchased this machine brand new out of Canada. We removed it from the crate. Wired it in and tested each of the three functions. It Sheared, Rolled and Bent 12 and 14 Ga. plate like a champ. It's very simple to run and only takes seconds to switch from one function to the next. It has 2 extension arms that bolt to the front of the machine to support, square up and guide the plate into the rollers, the shear station or the brake location. We had already removed them before we took the photos. They will be shipped with the machine. This unit is really beefy and heavy. It's well built, well designed and does all three of it's intended functions very well. After testing it out, we never really used it. We had a shear and a brake we used all the time. Up for auction is a 52" Meyer Foot/ Stomp Shear for sheet metal. The blades have been reground and are in good shape with minimal use since. Similar to a Pexto brand shear. I have a forklift to load if we make arrangements. At my shop in Upland.CA 91786. I will also be listing a Mittler Brothers bead roller and an english wheel with a full set of six Metal Ace anvils and a frame that I built. cidan 8' metal shear in excellent shape
cidan metal shear type ms-m 2.5/2.0.i'm told the 2.5 is meters of cut length which is just over 8 ft. and the 2.5 is mm of cut thickness which is about 14g. 220 volt. 3 phase. Foot pedal control. Motor HP i'm not sure. Tag is worn, but my 5 HP phase converter runs it, but it think its pushing it. in great shape. Powers up and runs and cuts. i've tested it with some 16g steel scraps i had around cut good. looks great. may be tested at my shop in hemet ca. with appointment. as stated before runs good. Cuts, light works, back gauge works, emergency stop works, foot pedal works, and it looks great! only issue is the broken plastis box that houses the realys and wire connections, i bumped it with forklift when unloading it. DOES NOT AFFECT PERFORMANCE AT ALL. it is located under the bed of the shear and behind the"tin" cover ... morebelow the bed. so with covers in place it is not accessible without removing lower"tins" in other words with the"tins" in place you CAN'T touch it or get shocked by anything. It grips the workpiece with pneumatic fingers. Feeds the piece into the shear with precision movements and fires the shear when in position. The common application is reshearing multiple patterns created on a CNC punch but it can also be used for cutting strips of material. THEORY OF OPERATION: The operator loads a blank onto PS 50. Locks the parts in place with pneumatic grippers, and sets the feed in motion which automatically triggers a shear, punch or stamping machine. PS 50 advances the material towards the shear blade or punch in increments automatically triggering the secondary machine. When complete.
