Pair Fine Porcelain Menu Boards, Antique/Vintage Angels
This is a pair of vintage porcerlain menu boards in the form of little angels. They have a baker's cap. A quiver, wings, an apron and nice buns. Each is 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. The decoration on each piece is entirely hand-painted. The condition of one is excellent, with no chips, cracks or crazing. The other has an early crack in the right forearm. This is stabilized because the arm is anchored on both sides. There are no other problems with the second piece. Neither piece is signed. We think they may be French. The age is also a mystery, but we believe they are at least from the mid-20th century, possibly earlier.

Lot up for auction is TWO VERY RARE 1941 Coca Cola metal sign menu boards. THESE SIGNS ARE GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION! Very cool signs with nice colors. Does have some dents. Dings, scratches, and minor rusting. overall a beautiful patina. Look great on the wall, neat pieces to add to a vintage Coke, soda, sign, or advertising collection. Measures about 27x19 and 8x19 inches. One sign is complete and in very good condition, the other had the bottom destroyed, so I cut it off nice and clean leaving the cool art deco Coca Cola, part and removing the chalk board portion.
