The Hydrobar is a technically advanced 12 ft. capacity bar feed designed to enhance the productivity of all types of turning equipment from manual lathes and CNC turning centers to automatic bar machines. Reduced Noise- Conventional bar feeders create noise due to vibrations from"skip rope" oscillations causing metal to metal contact of the rotating bar. Hydrobar hydrodynamically dampens these vibrations therby substantially reducing bar feeder noise. Shortened Cycle Times- Valuable cycle time is lost with conventional bar feeders due to unrestrained vibration which limits the machine rpm. By successfully dampening the bar stock vibration. Hydrobar permits higher machine rpm and consequently shorter cycle times. Improved Surface Finish- Hydrobar substantially reduces vibration excited bar feed chatter. Providing an improved surface finish over that of conventional bar feeds. I HAVE 2 MODEL HYDRO BAR HYS 6.42 BARFEEDERS THEY CAME MOUNTED TO 1997 MAZAKS SQT10MS 1 3/4 CAPACITY THAT I PURCHASED USED THEY WERE IN WORKING CONDITION WHEN I BOUGHT THEM. THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING FOR 3 YEARS OUTSIDE UNDER TARPS. THEY DO HAVE SOME SURFACE RUST BUT THEY SHOULD WORK FINE. THEY DID NOT GET USED VERY MUCH BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER I DO NOT HAVE ROOM IN MY SHOP TO USE THEM JUST TOO LONG FOR MY SHOP.
