Antique Kenmore Country Kitchen Cast Iron Stove Leg Base-Decorative Repurpose
this is just the stove cast iron legged base to a kenmore country kitchen stove. i took it off the actual stove top. the rest of the stove body couldn't be saved. needs sanding and repainting. i saved it because i thoguht it could be used on another stove or you could repurpose it for something else. everything is cast iron except the back brace. it is metal. it is 37 in. x 24 in. wide. it is 15 in. tall and very heavy. if you are going to make it a table then the measurements on the inside edge is 36 1/4 x 23 1/4 in. wide for framing. that is what i was going to do with it. Was make a beautiful coffee table.

This is nice solid mold that's made out of copper and is lined with tin. It has a riveted hook for hanging and is in excellent condition with the exception of some surface marks. This is a very old kitchen scale with a 25 pound limit in increments of 1 OZ. There are no markings to indicate the manufacturer. One other listing identical to this scale described it as a"Continental Works" scale thou I have no way to confirm that. This one has a great face and glass. The face is white with red and navy blue lettering. The pointer is red. The glass is flawless. Patent information reads"Patented Oct. 29. 1912. Patented June 17, 1913. The outside is red, but may be a repaint. The scale is 8 1/2" tall. The base measures 6 1/4" X 8 1/4" While I am selling this as a collectible item for display purposes. It can also serve as a functional kitchen display item. Give it a good cleaning and it will look good in your kitchen and also weigh your items accurately. It was after the success of her book entitled SEVENTY-FIVE RECEIPTS IN CAKES. PASTRY AND SWEETMEATS, that the author started this more ambitious work, designing it as a manual of American housewifery, avoiding the insertion of any dishes whose ingredients cannot be procured on our side of the Atlantic" All the recipes are quite clear, set out in the old way where the ingtedients are not first listed. The chapters on sweetmeats, cakes, pastry and puddings, syllabubs, blancmange and ice cream, warm cakes, preserves and jellies seem quite fine. There are also chapters on Perfumery and Food for the sick. The meat sections include beef, lamb, veal, pork, venison, rabbits, ... moreshell fish and fish, poultry and game, but the roasting recipes go back to the time when roasting was done"before a clear fire" There are three pages of illustrations for butchery at the rear as well. Original leather boards and spine with label still present. As shown. Boards split at hinges, but holding loosely. Some foxing throughout, as well as a few instances of pencil scribbling. The hinges are all good. The 2 drawer slides are good. All 4 door catches are good and made of all metal(this is an oldie) It is about 69 inches tall. 30 inches wide, and 20 inches deep The countertop is porcelain over metal and the rest is painted metal. There are some small ding dents but nothing too serious. There is some paint loss(see photos) I do not see any other damages. Breaks, alterations, or repairs. They stand 34 inches Tall with the top of the seat being 18 1/2 inches off the floor. This was the color combination to have back when! The chairs are very solid. One has a tear on the back as seen in pic-12. You shoul d be able to sort it out with little effort or cost. The Match ing Cord trim around the seats and backs is all good. The Seats covering s are all in very good condition! One rubber foot pad is missing. But you may want to replace them anyway, they are turning hard due to age. The cabinet has a beautiful folk art painted front that has worn to show it's history and character. The hand painted flowers are just amazing. I have never seen a cabinet like this- I purchased it at a local estate sale in Glen rock, Pa. The Estate described it as a Traveling pantry cabinet p ossibly from a traveling store that would go from town to town and sell specialty items and goods- mid/late 1800's. It has a large cylinder with a sifter for flour and many compartments which feed from the top into the bottom that probably held sugars. Spices, etc. It also has a grinder on the side which I believe is for coffee and a hook that pulls out to hang a scale or basket from. The top shelf has some places you can see on the 1st picture. Antique Cast Iron Pasta Noodle Machine Giunta Bros Old Kitchen Tool c 1910s Description: This is an antique pasta noodle making machine made by Giunta Bros. Philadelphia, PA, and dating, I would guess, to the early 1900s. It appears to be complete and seems to work normally but it is being sold with no returns. The black paint is original and in good condition with only a few chips. The machine comes with an original 8 1/2 x 10 3/4 inch instruction sheet in English on one side and Italian on the other. It also comes with a large clamp for securing the noodle maker to the edge of your work table. The machine is cast iron and tin with steel rollers. Antique Glass Cheese Preserver Canister, 1800's-1900's General Store-Kitchen
Excellent. Clean condition, no chips, cracks or rough spots on the base, and just a few expected tiny usage knicks on the bottom ridge of the top lid. The lid is marked with raised lettering, but it is faint. It reads"Sanitary Cheese Preserver, Remove Lid Daily, Directions: Place one third pint of vinegar and one tablespoon of salt in bottom, slightly dilute with water" The bottom of the canister has 1/2" raised glass bars to keep your cheese elevated above the preserving liquid. There are no dates on this particular jar. But I've had two others, almost identical, also called Sanitary Cheese Preservers or Keepers, and they were both dated 1895, so I'm assigning that general age to this piece. I'm told they were used in the old iceboxes in homes and as displays in small local general stores or mercantiles. The glass ... moreis thick, with some air bubbles within the walls, both on the lid and the bottom. The bottom jar measures 7 1/2" in diameter and is about 5 1/4" deep. With the lid and the knob it stands about 6 1/2" tall. There is a slight difference in the color of the glass.the lid has an amethyst cast and the bottom a greenish cast. 3 Antique Red Handle Small Sad Irons, Childs Toy Old Miniature Kitchen Utensil
Up for auction are three very cute and collectable small Antique red wooden handled Sad Irons(2 Dovers) between 80 to 100 years old. You don't normally see one of these old little irons for sale in this good of condition. Let alone three. They do all have areas of corrosion, but not bad, especially compared to others you see being auctioned. These would make great additions to any collection. While I used"Childs" in the title. Many people believe these small irons were used for collars and tight areas where the bulky big irons would prove clumsy to use. The red ruler in the second picture is only 6" L. not including the sharpener. While these are little they are heavy and cost a little more to ship, but you're still saving by getting three at the same time. Following are their descriptions: The smallest is a Dover and ... moreis just 3 1/2" L X 2 1/8" H. It has"DOVER U.S.A. embossed within a diamond on the top of the iron. The iron probably has 75 to 80%+ of its original gold finish. Whils the handle has 95%+ of the enamel red paint(which is exceptional. The second is a Sleeve iron and is only 4" L. X 2 7/8" H. It has"DOVER No. 902 SAD IRON" Embossed on the iron. The wooden handle has about 85 to 90% of its enamel red paint. While it appears the ends of the handle are lightly burned. It is actually just where the red has worn away to expose the black base coat. The sleeve is in good condition and probably has 85+% of the original metal finish. The last looks more like the irons we are used to. Its 4" L. X 3 1/2" H. It has no markings that I can see. Its wooden handle has 90+% of the red paint. The sheet metal top has probably 90 to 95% of the original metal finish. The last picture shows a hole at the back which may indicate this could have been an early electric. Antique French Door/Garden Gate Bell Original late 19 th century French door or garden gate bell. Normally these were used for Epicerie shops in France in the late 1800s With that lovely old weathered French green look from spending decades outside. It is good and strong, and in perfect working order. With its original spike to insert in the wall. Regretfully the pull wire is long gone, but a length of cord or chain is all that is needed. Antique miniature Cabinet or Salesman sample country kitchen piece Look
This is a very unique and interesting miniature piece of furniture. It measures 41" tall and the bottom portion measures 22" wide and 9 3/4" deep. The top portion measures 20 1/2" wide and 8 1/4" deep. The upper portion has 2 cabinet doors. The bottom has two drawers and two cabinet doors and one latch is partailly broken off. The back has plank construction and there is wear in a number of areas on the piece but someone has put a different finish than the original one.It appears that some of the parts are made from some type of old crate. They are both stamped with a design of wheat and a border. But they are not the same. The cross stitch design has been started on one, and it is stamped on the unfinished edge: No 0658 MCMLXXII Peri Lusta Inc. 100% Linen. The other is in an opened package marked Styled by Paragon Needlecraft. The one that has been started has a couple light spots near the edges. Which may or may not come out.
