Although I have an ... moreextensive background in machinery I have never used a foil stamping machine until I tested this one. I hooked it to a compressor and ran it. It heats up and I was able to stamp onto vinyl and leather and it seemed to work just fine. I really don’t know that much about this machine other than it works. I don’t know if it is performing as well as it was intended because I have no other machine to compare it to. It comes with a lot of extras type parts etc: See photo. Here is a site that has a far better understanding of the machine, and I believe they sell parts. There is also a really helpful video on this machine here: http:www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS72sa2ICIk The guy who made it is in Vegas and he sometimes carries parts and can be very helpful with advice. Kingsley Jester Version 2 Dual Tube Overdrive Pedal Overview The Kingsley Jester is a hand-wired tube overdrive and boost pedal that uses two 12ax7 tubes running at high voltage. The circuit is hand wired and features hard-wire by-pass on/off footswitches. The overdrive circuit is designed to capture the essence of the Kingsley Deluxe series overdrive tone in a footpedal format. The circuit is based on the overdrive channels of the Deluxe 32 and ToneBaron amplifiers. With the necessary adjustments made to allow the circuit to drive the front end of other amps. Features The overdrive controls are: gain. Volume, treble, middle and bass, with a three-way voicing switch that changes the gain range from low to medium to high. Mode 1 is for lower gain sounds and produces the fattest sounds. Mode 2 provides more gain and a more focused sound. Mode ... more3 is higher gain still with an even tighter sound for better definition at high gain settings. A separate foot-switchable tube boost function is also included with a boost level control and 3-way mode switch. Mode 1 is the fattest boost while mode 2 has incorporates a tasteful treble boost. The Kingsley ToneBaron is a variable power cathode biased amplifier that takes its inspiration from the Deluxe 30 and Deluxe 32. But adds higher output levels and adds the tonal flexibility of being able to accept a variety of output tube types and combinations. It is a channel switching amplifier that is extremely versatile with tones that are fat and rich. The ToneBaron comes with four 6L6s or four EL34s. But it can also accept 5881s, KT66s, KT77s, 6V6s or 6550s. There are two pairs of octal sockets in the power amplifier. Here is a good combination of type using the standard 18-pt holder. Goudy Cursive is a classic"script" type of font. And the bank gothis is a bold, masculine type.perfect for a monogram, and great for imprinting leather, as it is a'heavier' type of font. These are both complete sets but without numerals. There is only one lower case"q. The Goudy cursive is in boxes in good shape, but the Bank Gothic is in a tray-like container. I am including a redwood holder for the three trays. Up for auction is a Kingsley hot embossing system. This is model M-60. Serial#63639. I believe this is from 1977. Listed below are the details of what comes with this system. This has a heavy duty cord, has three heat settings and measuring guide plate. This is not a difficult machine to use! By following the step-by-step instructions, you can emboss napkins, coasters, ribbon, matchbooks, etc. I tested the machine, and it was easy! A couple of things: one of the arms seemed to have lost a screw, and has been wrapped in duct tape. It didn't effect the function of the machine, but it needs to be pointed out.
