Its big enough to have some serious muscle but small enough that you can still haul it with a 3/4- 1ton truck an Heavy Duty Trailer. its right at 50hp.I am the 3rd owner of it.It have had it for a few years around the farm an it has handled many task. the guy I got it from. Was the service manager for an equipment shop, an had his guys go completely through it when he bought it. He handed me a stack a receipts an said those were just the ones he could find.He said they went thru repacking almost all the cylinders, an replaced bushings an pins.alternator starter.He went thru the fuel system an redid all the breaks. the breaks are great!Basically ... morehe had is guys go thru the entire machine. new front tires, etc. He had a bunch of work on his farm he wanted to get done.and didn't want to deal with break downs an such.Bottom line its been well up kept an had a lot of stuff replaced that most people wouldn't waste their time with.but he had free labor an discounted parts so he did it. This winter I personally have done a complete transmission/hydraulic flush with new hydraulic oil an filters. An a fuel filter an oil change.I also replaced a couple of hydraulic hoses.not all of them are NEW, but they are in good shape an don't leak.It is a VERY solid machine! YOU WILL NOT FIND A USED BACKHOE AS DEPENDABLE ANYWHERE NEAR MY PRICE. You can put the loader an backhoe up in the air an they will hold, they do not leak down, there is NO hydraulic leaks at all! they have a ton of strength.it sits out of the weather in my pole barn.it will start right up after sitting for a month or 2.it starts fairly easy even when cold outside.You can tell by listening to the engine that its super solid an good an strong. John Deere 350 Crawler Loader I am not sure of the year but the serialnumber is 0585057. It has a good running diesel engine, it starts good, even in the winter, I used this machine this winter to push snowbanks back when they got to big or hard for the truck, ran and worked good, the bucket is 5 and a half feet wide, the loader is in very good condition not all welded up, has a self leveling bucket, has rear slab weights on it, the guages are new, has lights but they are currently not working, the transmission and clutch are in good condition, also has a good working reverser on it, meaning you can go forward or reverse in any gear by just moving a lever, the tracks are in good condition, I am not sure how many hours are on it the hour meter was repalced 336 hours ago, at that time it had some motor work done to it to what extent I do not ... moreknow, but a new tach. was installed, I got it from a farm estate where they told me that the motor was overhauled and a new tach. was put in at that time, I have no paperwork to prove this so I dont at what depth it was overhauled, but it does run and start very good, the tracks seem to be in very good condition I have never had any problems with them, it steers good both ways, you can pull lever back and it will spin a circle, but I will say that if steering right you have to pull lever all the way back, I think this just needs adjusting because it will spin a circle if pulled back. This is not a new machine but does run and operate very good, it would be perfect for farm use, clearing fence lines or whatever use you may have. John Deere 420 dozer crawler hydraulic cylinders, pair
We found this in the barn at Mom and Dad's estate. We have a 420 crawler for sale in the barn so these appear to be a spare parts in addition to the extra engine and transmission that are in the barn! Please see photos for their condition. The length of the cylinder closed is 33 3/4" and the interior diameter of the hole is 1 1/4" The chrome shaft is 2" in diameter. And the piston is 4.5" outside diameter. CONDITION BACKS THE HOURS UP. I USED THE MACHINE ON MY 80 ACRES PRIMARILY FOR LANDSCAPING. IT HAD TO MOVE TOPS SOIL AND SOME CLAY AND NOTHING WORSE. 6 WAY WORKS GREAT. CYLINDERS ARE GREAT AND DID GET NEW HOSES 4 YEARS BACK. THERE IS NO WEIRD WELDS OR MAKESHIFT REPAIRS ON THIS MACHINE. MACHINE HAS OFTEN BEEN PARKED INSIDE BUT IT IS NOT A SUNDAY DRIVER SO YES IT ALSO SPENT ITS SHARE OF TIME OUTSIDE WHICH CAN BE SEEN WITH THE PAINT.
