Hardened steel hand engraved hob. measures 68 mm x 19 mm. Hobs can be used to make tools or molds. These hobs were hand engraved by craftsman in the 1920’s and 30’s. This is true old worlds craftsmanship. No cad cam or EDM just fine handwork using graving tools and files. I have been in the jewelry tool and die business over 30 years and have had the privilege of knowing some of these engravers and have always been in awe of their talents. I went with the 1960's because it's part of a collection for the months. Lilly of the Valley was for May. These flowers were produced by the Marcel Boucher company in the 60s. Each flower is labeled with its name. A number, and the Boucher signature. The pearls were genuine cultured pearls. Some say they are fake pearls some say they are real pearls. Boucher is famous for using Real pearls. Signed and numbered Boucher Lily of the Valley# 8370P. This magnificent piece exudes such delicateness and beauty! This is a well-known design of Marcel Boucher. The flowers are pearl. Not sure if they are cultured pearl or faux as Boucher often ... moredid use real pearls in his brooches. The metal is goldtone. It s a really lovely pin and is the push pin back style. I am unsure if this backing is the original back piece. It very well may be as there is a little chain attached to the back piece and a very small opening in the pheasants tail which the back piece may have originally been attached to. Large fashion earrings from the early 1980s. Marbled blue and solid white with glitter gold details and clear glass'jewels' These rounded rectangular earrings are great! A silver metal is the base and the colors are hand- painted on. Some areas have been left un painted so the silver metal shows through. My father bought these for me in the early 1980s and although I love them. They do not go with my current wardrobe. They have been rarely, if ever, worn. Each earring is 2" tall by 1 1/4" wide and the back is a silver metal. Possibly silver plated as it shows some signs of tarnish. They are stud earrings with the larger plastic earring back to secure them and the stud is at the top above the center rectangular cut-out. They hang well when you wear them.
