This is such a beautiful hand crafted marble vase masterpiece that I hate to sell it. But I will do it, if I get my price. My wife and I purchased this while on our honeymoon in Italy in 1974. We stopped at this elegant crafts shop in Firenze where a craftsman was making vases slowly from drawings, one by one. We ordered one and came back a few days later to pick it up. We were astounded at its craftsmanship. This is such a beautiful piece. That everyone that has seen it, has a tendency to stare at it. It is as graceful as it is thick, sturdy and heavy. For auction is a Beautiful Italian Marble Jewelry box. Golden feet and red velvet inside. NO chips or cracks. Its in beautiful condition- does have normal vintage wear, nothing major. The only thing I should point out is the feet are a little uneven, they may have to be adjusted so you don't have that wibble wobble, or maybe put a piece of something underneath one of the feet so it doesn't move up and down. The putti is carrying a large, bulbous, glass urn/vessel. The glass is exceptional. It features a swirled design with interior white painted finish. The paint technique is somewhat splattered and is quite striking. The lamp base features a brass bottom with an upper marble section which is white with gray veining. Italian Carved Alabaster Pedestal Late 19th- Early 20th Century Item# 130004FHK30 This is a fine carved Italian Alabaster Pedestal. Crafted in multiple parts that each fit into the next. The upper section disassembles easily, the top three pieces lifting off to reduce the height to 32 1/2" for easy shipping. It has a gorgeous translucence to the form, glowing when placed by a window. It is very sturdy and capable of holding the significant weight of a solid marble bust without concern. Measurements: 39 1/4" high. Here we have two clusters of HUGE vintage stone alabaster fruit each with 4 fruits attached via a wire stem. Each fruit is approximately 2 inches in diameter and color is a soft yellow/lemon color with some areas that a faded to white and look a bit chalky. Painted Italian Antique Rococo Credenza Italy- Probably Rome circa late 18th century An extremely fine antique Italian painted and faux marble top late 18th century credenza. This finely executed and high quality baroque two-door cabinet/ credenza is painted in cheerful golden yellow hues and festooned with hand painted floral rococo decorations. The original locking mechanism is non-functional. No key. There are condition issues, namely warping, chipping and cracking of the wood due to age and shrinkage. One foot is loose. Painted finish is distressed, consistent with age. Inside has two shelves, 50' long x 18' deep x 41' high. It is a good size and a lovely original antique! Buyer pays shipping!

Antique Italian candle stick holders - brass, glass prisms, marble base - Italy
You are looking at a pair of antique Italian candle holders. They stand 12 1/4" tall and the base is 5" in diameter. They consist of a fancy metal base(I believe it's brass) With a 3/4" thick piece of white marble on top. The pedestal is made of glass, mostly with a diamond pattern, with metal arms encircling it. Each arm holds a two-piece dangling glass prism- the bottom teardrop is 1 1/2" long and the round prism on top is about 1/2" across. Atop the glass pedestal is a 3 1/2" metal(brass? taper candle holder. The marble base has a sticker that reads'Fine Marble Base. Made in Italy. There is obvious discoloration of the brass. 19thC Original A. Frilli Signed Italian Marble Bust Sculpture Goddess Dante Muse
This is an estate piece. A fine antique, original artwork, a classical marble sculpture for the home or garden. The Italian marble bust is a representation of Dante's Muse. Beatrice prtrayed as a Goddess. It is another unique item from the W.M.V. Hoffman estate of Tuxedo Park, N.Y. Beatrice has a sublime look and wears a crown of Laurel leaves. The bust is approx. 14-1/8" tall and 12-1/8" wide(shoulder to shoulder) It weighs just over 28 pounds. The marbling is visible. Please view the photos. The marble is signed" A. Frilli" as seen in the rubbing that I made from the bust. The strokes of the artists chisel are still visible. Vintage Italian Marble& Brass Apothecary Scale. Perfect decoration for Pharmacist or Attorney(Scales of Justice) Slight wear as would be excepted. But overall in very good shape. My parents bought this when stationed overseas in the military in the mid 1900's. The scale was bought in Italy, although it does not have a made in Italy stamp. Overall approximate dimensions are l ength 18" H eight 26" and d epth 7" My mother had the scale professionally cleaned and a lacquer finish applied to protect the scale many years ago. It is still shiny with very little pitting only on the pans and one small spot on the top of the scale. However. When this cleaning was done, the bottom ring on the main support column was apparently lost and the top ring placed on the bottom of the marble base. This was not evident until I was researching ... moresimilar scale prices on ebay and noticed most scales like this had a top ring and a bottom ring. The only way I knew this had happened was that there is a slight etching on the top of the base where the larger brass piece should have been. My family never noticed this, so it's not very evident. Even with these minor issues, the scale is still absolutely beautiful and a truly vintage specimen piece. It weighs over 8 pounds.
