FENDER Bandmaster, 1965, Fender Electric Instrument Company
This is a very nice example of the early Blackface Fender Bandmaster amplifiers. It has Fender Electric Instrument Company stencil on the front and back plates and the 4 power tube chassis(2 of the holes are covered with plates) This amp is all original cloth covered solid wire inside and has no mods or component changes with the exception of brand new F&T filter caps in the power supply and bias circuit(less than 1 hour on the caps) and a new 3 conductor AC cord. One knob has a broken section and the chassis straps have some rust. But there are no tears in the tolex and the grille cloth has aged perfectly. This amp sounds great and is ready to play. Here are some of the numbers on the amp(for dating purposes) Serial number A 09375/ Chassis(outside) FP0765(inside) TB665/ Power transformer 125P7D 606-446/ Choke 125C1A 606-4-45/ Output ... moretransformer 125A6A 606-4-27. Everything points to the transformers being made in 1964 and the amp being assembled in February of 1965. Not pristine but very clean and sounds good. these are one of my favorite Fender amps. There are some minor dings/dents on the instrument. The Bell has a large patch on it that looks like it was done professionally a long time ago- looking inside the Bell you can see the cracks. The silver finish has some minor wear. None of the braces/joints are loose. The tuning slides move freely and the water keys work fine. The valve plating is very worn- compression is low. We are not familiar with saxophones but we can describe what we see. The buttons appear to be Mother of Pearl. An Original very clean condition Hammond Model 342 Large Wall Clock almost identical to the Hammond Postal Telegraph Electric Wall clock. Produced around 1930s/40s. It is in real nice clean condition and runs perfectly, The steel case has the original finish(Never refinished) The dial is 16" across, the case is 20" overall and the clock is 5" deep. A good looking clock in great running condition. All items are are described to the best of my ability. If you have any questions or need more pictures I will supply. It is not a self starting clock. To start it. You need to plug it in and roll the start knob on the back, to the left which starts the motor. The clock runs perfectly backwards if you roll the start knob to the right.

This is a Coast Instrument Company 8" F6 Treckerscope. Treckerscope was the brand model name for the upper end coast instrument company telescopes in the late fifties. This is the 8" F6 on the original treckerscope equatorial mount. The mount is solid with 1.5" shafts and features a massive rotating tube cradle. Also features a large pier with legs and a pancake motor drive in ra. I so not know if the motor works. The tube is fiberglass and other features are a 1.25" rack and pinion focuser. 50mm right angle finder scope, all metal mirror cells and a superb 8" optic. The mirror still has the original wavefront label on the back applied by coast instrument company. To the best of my knowledge this is a 1958 model. Sold as you see it as is. Up for auction is a survey level transit in a hard carrying case with latches. The box is marked Brunson Instrument Company. Kansas City, Missouri. On the inside of the box is a sticker showing that it was last calibrated in February of 1991. I have no knowledge of this type of equipment so I am unsure if it works, is complete, etc. so I am selling it as found at a low opening bid. I have tried to include several photos to give you as much detail as possible. The level on the top works and I can see"cross hairs" when I look through the eye piece. The transit appears in nice overall shape but is dirty in spots and there are a few scratches here and there on the yellow paint. The carrying case has scuffs, scratches, rust on latches, etc. It appears to have been used quite a bit in the field.
