Up for auction is an Emco plastic injection mold machine. This machine is model 333 and is a 1/3 ounce. We have also included 2 molds(Thimble& Golf Tee) This was part of a closed school tech shop and was removed in good working order. We still tested it and found it to heat up and the cylinder to function as well. We did not have plastic to test it with. Cosmetically. It shows signs of use including a few chips and scratches. It may benefit from a cleaning. There is plastic residue hardened to the cylinder. This can be removed, but we will leave any such cleaning to the lucky high bidder. Cord was hardwired into switch. So it was cut Powered up unit. Light came on, and temperature gauge rose(only had it running about 2 minutes and got to about 300 degrees) Plastic residue seemed to scrub off fairly easily from the melting block Air gauge glass is broken Please see pictures for more clarification. Honajector 1 oz. Injection Molder Molding Machine Small Hobby Air Actuated
Offered is this Honajector Model 1oz Injection molder from a local school. Was told it was in use prior to changing school's curriculum. In very nice cosmetic condition. Looks as if someone has recently replaced the ac power cord. Missing the vise screw as you can see. It was not found and is not included. Looks like it would be an easy fix for its new owner. I did power up the unit and its first pilot lamp glowed and heater started heating up. I did not bring it to full temperature as there was still a bit of plastic in the nozzle and didn't want to make a mess. I did not have an air source easily available. So was not able to test the actuating function. The round air pressure gauge is missing its plastic lens. As you know, they are dirt cheap, you will probably want to just replace it.
