Large Long FL Germanium Mid Wave Thermal Infrared Imager Lens Telescope Optic
My loss is your gain. Someone sold this to me as a long wave thermal telescope. But they were wrong, it is a MID wave thermal camera lens. This is a large thermal telescopic lens designed for MIDDLE wave 3-5um thermal IR imagers. Since all my current themal camera units are long wave, I cannot use it since the mid wave IR coatings are mirror like at long wave 7-12um wavelengths. It is 2-1/4 in the input side, and about 1-1/2 inch on the output side facing the FPA. The overall length of the lens tube is about 6 inches. The germanium content of the lens alone is worth the starting price. If you can use it, all the better! This item is extremely rare and esoteric, I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.

This item is a small silicon and sapphire aspheric detector lens. It is made of silicon with a sapphire optical element as well. It is made for either a thermal imager or some sort of near/mid IR detector. The focal length appears to be about 1cm and the lens diameter is about 13mm. The lens makes an image that is visible on my night vision intensifier tubes. But will not make an image visible on normal CCD imge chips. Since part of it silicon it will cut off wavelengths shorter than about 1.3um making it quite useful as a detection lens for erbium glass 1.5um and other longer wavelength lasers. This is a Scott Eagle Imager 6 Thermal Imaging Camera with Wireless Transmitter. These are normally used by firefighters. Police and rescue teams to locate persons in dark, smoky or low visibility areas to locate"heat" from persons or other sources. They additionally can be used for hunting as well, the benefits are obvious! Camera Model: I.R. Camera w/XMTR Camera Part: 40014831 Unit is in fair condition with scuffs. Scratches, wear and marks from normal field usage. This unit was surplused from a fire department for newer technology equipment. I tested the unit out as follows: Charged the included battery in a charger(charger NOT included) Inserted the battery into the Imaging Camera. When the on/off button is pressed. All three LED's on the screen light up and then cycle through a startup sequence. The lights eventually cycle ... morefaster and within 1 minute the display lights up and you can begin viewing on the screen. Using the knob in front. You can adjust the iris of the unit(control amount of light in the camera, adjust in lighter/darker areas as needed) Pointed the camera towards known sources of heat(my computers. Children, etc) and you can see clearly below that the images taken display properly. Connected the video output on the camera to an external monitor and verified that the image is transferred properly. Tested the camera using an external 12-volt power source(there's a power jack on the side of the unit) It requires a 5.5mm/2.5mm barrel jack plug. The center pin is negative, outer barrel is positive. Based on my tests. Everything seems to be operating properly. This camera also has the built-in video transmitter installed, although I don't have a receiver to test those features. The unit has a detachable handle on it as well, using the handle allows an operator to carry and aim it easily. It can additionally be mounted to a tripod or other mount for fixed usage. Thermal Imager Imaging Camera Flir Ghost Hunting MSA 5000 Infrared
MSA Evolution 5000 camera with truck charger. Manual and 3 batteries. 1 battery is new and the other 2 are at about 75% capacity. The camera uses Sony NP-F550 camcorder batteries. These can be bought new for about $15.00 each. The camera is in good condition with a few light scuffs. This is a much smaller and lightweight camera than the MSA 4000. The included truck charger is basically a mobile charger with a 12.5 to 26 volt input and is designed to attach to a fire truck. The charger will charge the battery in the camera plus 1 external battery. One of the 3 rubber mounting pads for the truck charger is missing. The camera has an issue when powering up the camera. The image is delayed by a couple of minutes. A distorted image is displayed for another minute and then the camera works perfectly until the camera is powered off and sits for ... moreseveral hours. This seems to only happen around 70-72 degrees F. I opened the camera to see if there was an obvious reason for the issue but could not find any. I believe the camera core is thermally intermittent. I did not spend much time trying to trace the cause of the thermal intermittency. I removed the snap clips that hold the plexiglass cover for the LCD to gain access to the camera core. I do not have a tool to put the clips back in place. The rubber armor holds everything together just fine for normal use. I will include the clips in a plastic bag with the camera. Again. The camera works fine if you have a few minutes of patience to wait for the image on power up. This item cannot be exported. Sales to the USA only. Last second bidders- When you bid. Scott Eagle Imager IR Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera TIC - Project Parts!
This is the last of the Scott Eagle Imager 6 Thermal Imaging Cameras that I have- this one is not functioning 100% properly. BUT it has a guaranteed working IR camera module that can be customized to use in any project you desire! This unit also has the Wireless Transmitter installed. These are normally used by firefighters, police and rescue teams to locate persons in dark, smoky or low visibility areas to locate"heat" from persons or other sources. They additionally can be used for hunting as well, the benefits are obvious! Camera Model: I.R. Camera w/XMTR Camera Part: 40014831 This unit is a bit rough on the outside. You can see that the case was cracked at somepoint and epoxied back together. The front of the unit is missing the filter lens that covers the camera. The monitor does not"hold" position because the metal ... morering/ball-bearing that should be there is missing. As far as functionality goes. The built-in screen on the unit does not appear to be working. When the unit is fully powered up, the screen is all"white" and does not show video. If you connect an external monitor to the unit via the composite connector on the side of the unit, video appears properly! The IR Camera module is 100% functional, it's just that the screen on the back of the unit isn't working. Opening the unit is simple, just requires removal of approximately 6 screws and the case comes apart. The IR Camera portion of the unit appears to be a self-contained unit which makes it GREAT to use in anything you want. It has a very simple wiring harness that only requires +12vdc for input(red/black) and green/white for composite video(green = ground. White=video signal) I pulled the camera module out and tested it invidually and you can see that it works independently of the rest of the unit. Here are some other tests I performed: Charged the included battery in the charger to charge the battery(no charger included) Inserted the battery into the Imaging Camera.
