60" Custom Hydraulic Sheet Metal Shear
Your tax dollars at work.I have been told that this $80.000.00 custom shear was originally built for the U.S. Navy to cut perforated stainless steel sheets for submarines. Never used by the government and sold as surplus. Can't confirm the story but it is a nice piece of equipment. I bought it to start a company that didn't get off the ground. My best guess is that it will shear light gauge steel sheets(based on the heavy parts) but I can't say the exact thickness for sure because it is custom. The material build sheets that came with the shear can be seen in the pictures.
