The probe is an HPP6 probe which uses the well known Coreci C5 capacitive sensor and a PT100 for temperature measurement. The C5 sensor measures relative humidity in the temperature range of(minus) 10ºC to +70ºC(14ºF to +158ºF) The display. Which is a single line LCD display, shows either the Relative Humidity value(1% Resolution) with an H suffix, or the Temperature value(0.1º Resolution) with a C suffix. The choice is switch selectable ... moreby the user. The interconnection between the HL240D and the HPP6 is a coiled lead and plug. A most useful feature is that it can be unplugged from the HPP6 and plugged into either an HPP4 or an HPP5 to give an instantaneous digital read-out without having to remove the probes from their installed location.
