With heat exchanger, all new and in the original packaging. I believe it may have ... morebeen manufactured a few years ago. But it appeared that it had never been taken out of its packaging before I removed it for photographing. The packaging does show some shelf wear, but the gear is pristine. The nested set is about 7" in diameter by 4 1/2" deep, and weighs right at 2 lbs. It includes 2 stainless steel pots(1.5 liter and 2 liter) a lid(which can fit either) a very sturdy clamping pot handle, the XPD heat exchanger(increases efficiency by 25% and a stuff sack. I have been told that a Whisperlite stove can be packed inside the set. A survey of the internet shows that the basic cookset without the heat exchanger lists for $49.99. The heat exchanger lists for $39.99. Therefore. This complete system would retail for about $90.00.
