RARE SILVER GUILLOCHE ENAMEL VINTAGE TRANSISTOR POCKET LAPEL HEARING AID RADIO
This is for a very unusual vintage sterling silver and guilloche enamel hearing aid from the 1930s. I would think this is pretty rare as most of these aids would have been given free. I believe this one has been specially commissioned by a jeweller. It is a transistor type aid and it takes R.M1 batteries. It has its clip at the back for fixing to a pocket or lapel and this is all chrome and it is in excellent condition with no damage to the silver or the enamel which has a glassy smooth finish. This is a family item(s) Found in the same bos, though I'd guess that the two black, hard modelled pieces(with commo holes/recepticles may be of a different time and source. CONDITION: as is, as pictured. The box itself is a collectible piece. It measures: 1-5/16" x3-11/15" x 3-11/16" Post marked from Cambridge. Massachusetts, addressed to Dr. Fletcher at BTL, Murray Hill, NJ. Do not know anything about this pair of black hard modelled ear pieces. There are small symbols denoting connection by the holes. They're identical. But one is tarnished. The medium and large Ear Wardens are the likely the original contents of this ... moremailing. As they are marked N.D.R.C. There is ONLY one pair of rubber Ear Wardens. Both spindels are present. By the mid-1920s. When the Bell Telephone Laboratories was formed, Harvey Fletcher’s research on acoustics had the company named him director of acoustical research in 1928 and by 1935 he had been promoted to Director of all Physical Research. Vintage, 9” x 7” black and white still from the 1983, ABC-TV soap opera series“Dynasty” Pictured in this photo are actors Gordon Thomson and Joan Collins from the episode titled"The Hearing" The photo comes from a newspaper that no longer wanted the photo and was carefully saved since them. It is used with a snipe glued to the back. The back of the photo has no writing and is clean. It is in EXCELLENT(B) condition considering the age of the photo.
