Offered without reserve is a vintage foot operated Grommet/ rivet press. This is the last one we have. The press needs a good cleaning(dirt and dust. Not rust) but it's in virtually perfect operating condition. It is a solid piece in great shape- i t's mechanism works smoothly and the foot operation is nice and steady. It is attached to a work bench. The foot lever hangs down below, and you use your foot to operate the press allowing your hands to be free for better control of the item being worked on. Manufactured by United Carr. This attaching machine is incredibly versatile and can be used to press buttons, grommets, rivets, snaps or other various fasteners into leather, tin or canvas, vinyl etc. It is cast iron and built to last forever. You will get decades of service out of this unit. REBUILT EDWARD SEGAL G2R83 Grommet Machine For sale we have a rebuilt Edward Segal G2R83 automatic grommet machine that set 1/2" inside diameter grommets. This machine is a double revolution machine meaning it will first come down and punch the hole. Then come back and set the grommet. It has a single hopper where it load to top grommet. All the operator has to do is load the bottom washer by hand. So if you were going to use this machine the operator would place the bottom washer on the die, then place the material under the die, hit the pedal and it will activate and come down and punch the hole, then go back up and the machine will automatically load the top grommet and then the die comes down and sets it. This is a used Automatic Grommet Machine. This unit worked when removed from business but has sat in storage for a year or more. The machine measures 27" x 17" x 28" The lift in the pictures doesn't go with the auction just the pallet. I don't know much about the machine. I know the small orange rubber belt on top has a flat spot in it(may be replaced) It has a Dayton 1/3 HP electric motor on it. 110 volt unit.
