DYE Invision I3 Pro Paintball Mask Goggle White
Dye I3 Invision 3 paintball goggles. These are barely Used I think I played with them 4-5 times before I stopped playing paintball altogether. They are great goggles and have never had a problem with the lenses fogging up during play. The visor is removable also. The Pende are known for their artistic forms ranging from house decorations. Figural sculptures, numerous carved ivory pendants, and a wide variety of masks. Masks from the eastern Pende are fairly numerous and often abstract with a generous use of red, black and white coloring. Round and painted Gitenga masks are known to be part of a larger grouping that dances during mukanda initiations and circumcisions of young boys to represent the perseverance that the boys must demonstrate during this initiation. They dance with other masks made out of grass fibers that also have large protruding eyes. As the group dances it represents to the viewers ideas of the difficulties of life, chance and death. Ultra-Rare WWII Luftwaffe #306 ARMORED Aviator Pilot Flying Goggle Lenses Stuka!
Up for auction here is a virtually-impossible-to-find set of specially-armored clear glass lenses for the Luftwaffe Model 306 Fliegershutzbrille flying goggle. Such lenses. Which could withstand all but a direct hit from a high-caliber round, were used in a range of higher-risk applications, including the open-cockpit rear gunner position in the Stuka. One only has to view and hold a set of lenses to see how very different they are from conventional lenses. I show two photos at the end to demonstrate this. One of which shows one of these held against a conventional 306 lens. Essentially, these lenses consisted of three layers of conventional lenses laminated together, though their total thickness is a trace shy of that. They measure a very robust 5mm in thickness as compared to only 2mm for a conventional 306 lens(see photos! Such lenses. ... moreMade by the manufacturer"Sigla" and one of these is so-stamped) were very heavy and required a specially made 306 frame with a wider groove to accept their thickness. Not all 306 frames have this. These lenses show that they were worn a good deal in the air and not set aside in cold storage for all these years. They have numerous scratches. Chips, particularly on the edges, and one surface crack(it doesn't go beneath the first layer of glass) on one lens.the photos show all these defects. All that said, the lenses remain quite serviceable.they ARE armored. After all! These are described in good detail on page 80 of Mick Prodger's superb reference"Vintage Flying Helmets. WW2 British RAF MkVIII Flying Goggle Lenses for parts Royal Air Force WWII
Auction is for RAF goggle lenses for the MkVIII type model goggles. Both outer copper metal lens frames are in RAF gray color and are complete with no damage and have some paint chipping. Please be aware that the right eye goggle glass lens that is pictured on the left side when looking at my photo is an original tented glass lens in excellent shape with very minimal glass elimination. The left side goggle lens that is pictured on the right when looking at my photo is not an a original tented lens. But is rather a clear lens that I tented myself. The clear lens does have a crack in the front part of the two sided glass, but does not go through the other side and is covered up by the tinting. The clear lens also has age elimination but is hard to see with the the tenting that was applied. The glass lenses will also fit in the MkIIV type model ... moregoggles and the gray frames can be removed and replaced with the RAF blue frames that originally came with MkIIV type goggles. WW II Army Air Force Goggle. Flying Rochester Optical Co. Type B8 with box and accessories. This is a set of US Army Air Forces flight goggles. Known as the Type B-8. Complete with the issue box and all accessories. The frame was made of black rubber construction. The lenses were plastic. An elastic band is provided to secure the goggles to the head. Manufactured by the Polaroid company. The goggles were employed primarily by bombnig crews when flying over Europe. The instructions booklet had several illustrations to show how the goggles should be employed. The title of the book read"Rochester Optical Aviation Kit" Each lens would be secured into place by a snap to each side. The lenses came in cardboard inserts. Matching Dye Rotor hopper and I4 Mask goggle Grey
Used Dye I4 and rotor for sale. Lenses on the I4 are clear and they are in great shape. There are two very small knicks on the top right corner of the lenses but you can't see them when wearing the mask. The foam is in excellent condition. The rotor works great. Theres alot of the paint that has rubbed off on the neck but it will slide and stay hidden in the feedneck.
