Lionel UCS O Gauge Remote Control Track cleaned and tested
Normal 0 These 2 Lionel UCS remote control track sections are in good condition. Please Note: One of the controllers was manufactured by Lionel in Hong Kong. The other controller and both UCS track sections are US made Lionel. Also one of the controller bottom plates has been re-painted. see photos) None of these affect the operation of these remote tracks in any way. Before listing the track was cleaned and all solder joints checked and repaired as needed. New steel pins have been installed as needed. The control box contacts were cleaned using CAIG cleaner. A new 15” control cable has been installed. The wires are marked for easy reference to the remote section. The track was tested for its uncouple and unload functions using a postwar Lionel 3472 milk car and worked with no issues. I will include 8 solder less terminals(4 for each remote) ... morethat you can install if you wish. It’s a lot easier to run the cable. And then install the terminals. That way you do not need to drill such a big hole to be able to fit the wire and the installed terminals through, just the wire.
