PLEASE NOTE THIS is a LOCAL PICK UP ONLY ITEM located in MAINE. THANKS! Hello. This is a huge Citgo gas sign, probably from one end of an island sign. It is 4" tall, and just 3" shy of 12' wide. All of the electrical system is there inside, the bulbs are all broken. Here's why. I was playing a gig at an all terrain park in Carthage, Maine and noticed this sign in the woods under a pile of pallets, pine needles, and brush. I asked the owner about it, left with on top of my trailer that night. You can see in the photos that the O needs to be re secured to the frame, its kind of free floating right now. It cleaned up very nicely, and if you pulled the back off, I'm guessing you could get this thing lit back up fairly easily. You can see inside a little from the front where the O is and it looks clean in there, with lots ... moreof broken fluorescent bulb glass. It would be bad a* to get it lit up again, people would see it for miles at night. Or just leave just like it is, it's your call. Classic Vintage"Dayton Tires" Clock Light Sign makes a great shop or man cave wall hanger. At 16 inches by 16 inches it is just the right size. It weighs roughly 5 1/2 pounds. The clock and light work great& the clock ran right on time for the several hours I ran it. I installed a new florescent light assembly inside. So the clock operates on a separate cord from the light which is convenient. It could easily be converted to a single cord if someone desires& original bulb holders are still inside clock(original light was 18 inch fluorescent with a ballast that is gone, the new one is a GE Slim Line 14 inch fluorescent light, no ballast needed) All else is original, the clock, the casing and all the face. No cracks or breaks, just a few small scratches as visible in pictures.
