It has 426 hours on it. It has been well maintained by a 3d printer enthusiast who has over 2 years experience with 3d printers. 1927 SRA Radiola M40 Battery Radio w/Good Filament Triode Tubes * Beautiful
This item is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Here's a gorgeous 1927 M40 Radiola battery receiver manufactured in Stockholm. Sweden by SRA(Svenska Radioaktiebolaget) Condition is excellent. As you can see in the photographs. The midnight black bakelite panel is flawless, and it's as reflective a sheet of black glass. The nickel-plated hardware is likewise in near mint condition, with virtually no evidence of wear. There's a small chip and a nearly invisible hairline in the left tuning dial, but the radio is otherwise pristine. Even the tap switch contacts and the knurled corner screws that secure the panel to the cabinet are close to perfect. The furniture quality cabinet is in superb condition. With its original finish still intact, a surface that's smooth to the touch, and tongue-in-groove joints that are securely ... moreglued, with no swelling or other deformities. The Radiola decal is crisp and complete; it appears to be original, but I know that replicas have made, so I cannot warrant that it's original to the cabinet. The chassis is clean and original throughout, and the tube sockets are undamaged. The audio transformers are clean and original. One of the transformers has an open winding and will need to be bridged or rewound if you wish to make the radio operational. The wiring everywhere is securely soldered, and there is no rust or other damage evident anywhere. The original paper SRA label on the underside of the cabinet is in excellent condition- complete and legible throughout. All three tubes have good filaments. But I am unable to test their emissions. The radio measures approximately 19" wide by 8" deep by 9" high. Shipping weight. Properly packed, will be about 25 lb. That's about it. I will pack it carefully and properly. I've been shipping antique phonographs and wireless sets for years. And I know how to get fragile antiques to you safely. Edison carbon filament, double loop 16c 110, plaster base, 1893-1904 light bulb
For auction is an Edison carbon filament incandescent bulb. Determining its actual manufacture date is difficult. Based on researching its architecture and with help from other Ebay members I have narrowed its manufacture date to approx 1893 to 1904. Its unique attributes are: Extruded carbon filament-Straight sided molded glass bulb-Plaster of Paris used as both base insulator and adhesive cement-Extended thread brass base(5 turns compared to 2-3) Flat brass button contact-Round paper label stating bulb type and voltage 16c/110. Label is in great condition. Carbon paste filament connection-Short length platinum lead in wires It is in fine working condition. It has some small scuffs in the glass and some small specks of stuck on debris. I didnt try too hard to remove them as I didnt want to damage the glass. Up for auction is my trusty ol' Makerbot Cupcake 3D printer. What a name. Anyway. It was working. Then I had the bright idea to rebuild the"printhead. In the process. I messed up the Nichrome wire that heats up the nozzle. It's a half-hour fix. You'll need a new 6" piece of Nichrome wire. But I'm just not up for it. Too many other things going on. Once you replace that, you'll be good to go. I'll include the Makerbot, a newer PC power supply, one almost-complete spool of 3mm ABS filament, a small spool of white ABS filament, all the extra little bits I have left over from when I built the"Grey Ghost, and whatever else I can think of to throw in the deal. Antique Edison Bulb Thomas Houston Base Good Filament
For sale is a vintage/antique lightbulb. It measures approximately 1 inch across the base and is approximately 6 inches tall. This Base appears to be brass and does not appear to be your standard screw-in base. I cannot find any letterings or writing anywhere on the base or the Bulb but I'm guessing that this is an early Edison bulb. I have not charged the bulb any, but the filament appears to be completely intact. The glass base with a filament comes up, appears to be leaning a little bit one direction. I was told. By a vintage lighting person, that this is a Thomas Houston base. I'm not a lighting guy or nor do I usually handle lightbulbs so I will make no guarantees about this and I'm only able to tell you what I see. So you are buying this lightbulb as is. I can find no cracks, chips, or anything wrong with this ball other ... morethan the film it is leaning a little bit on the inside, and there appears to be some outside debris stuck on the ball. I don't know if someone had put some sort of a sticker or a piece of on this at one point in time, but I'm not comfortable with wiping it all off out of concern of doing damage to this fragile peace. $6.50 shipping to the lower 48.
