UP for auction is an unusual electrical board marked"Ziegler Electric Company Boston. Mass. early Zieglers worked with Thomas Edison. Not certain what this is- but here is my pitch. It is metric and there are electrical terminals/posts on three distinct copper/brass strips- 2 L-shaped and a middle straight one. The underneath has a grove running lengthwise with electrode connectors for the posts on the 2 L-shaped strips. Betweenn the two connectors in the underneath side groove is a wire. The two L-shaped strips(which get the electricity) are eroded/ corroded- the central straight one which does not get the electrical flow underneath is not so corroded. Mounted on oak. Originally the book was written and copyrighted by V. Karapetoff in 1907 as one volume. The second edition was written and copyrighted in 1910 as two volumes. In 1941 the fourth edition of the book was revised by Boyd C. Dennison Professor of Electrical Engineering, Carnegie Institute of Technology. Vladimir Karapetoff passed away in 1948 and in this 1948 second printing of the fourth edition, he is listed on the title page as“The Late” V. Karapetoff. This second volume includes a more advanced study of subjects introduced in Volume I. In addition.
