This is an early box of HALDENS ELECTRIC IMPREGNATED SAFETY MATCHES made by Bryn& Halden. Bryn, Norway. It has its original matches and probably dates to the early 1900's. The inner and outer boxes are made of thin wood covered with paper, the inner with pale blue paper. It measures 2-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" high x 5/8" deep. The mounting nut has been slightly rounded, but the flats on it are still good!
