The power supply reads 3.00 volts because of the voltage drop across the power leads. Slope is 1W/A with a threshold of 7 amps and 1 watt output at 8 amps. It's TEC cooled and needs to be properly heatsunk for continuous use. The cover was off when I got it and there are 2 minor dents visible in the pictures. Mouse over each photo to see whats up. The 2 photo diodes have housings that are about 1.032 inches long X 1.0 inches in diameter. These 2 diode detectors have wires(2 on one unit, 3 on the other unit) that come out of the rear of the housing and connect to the 15-pin connector along with the modulation and supply wires for the laser diode.
