This listing is for one very cool Kenwood KX-1060 Three Head Cassette Deck. I'm offering it up here as I have no room in my curent A/V set up for another COOL DECK, IT'S A BEAUT BUT IS ALSO A BIG ONE! I do not want it to sit in a closet unused. So here is your opportunity to get a nice classic deck from a great era. Some Features: 3 Heads(Ferrite) ALL IN VERY CLEAN AND GREAT CONDITION! Large cool easy to read analogue meters with cool green lighting A very cool and great bias adjusting set up for both channels using a bias oscillator. Manual selection of tape types and Dolby Noise Reduction. Large easy to see cassette well opening with clear bezel door. All LED's and lights work. The power ... moreon Toggle switch was missing its decorative paddle. I fabricated another one that closely matches the stock looking paddles of the other switches. As noted all features work and designed the only glitch is that in REWIND mode once the tape rewinds back to the beiginning the system STOPS but sometimes the REWIND Key does not pop back up. It has not affected performance of the unit. Drive belt is in good shape and should serve ably for a good while. The good thing is the belt is VERY easy to change once/if one has to. I will supply a print out of the SERVICE manual and the manual shows in tic tac toe steps how to change a belt in mere minutes. But again the drive belt is still in good service shape. I do not B.S. COMPUTER TAPES Here are 5 old IBM& 3M METAPHOR COMPUTER RECORDING CASSETTE TAPES. They are also the same as the DC 6150& the DC 615A. They are about 6" long x 4" wide x 5/8" thick. These tapes seem to be run off of a single drive wheel on the front of the cassette. The bottom of the tape is a aluminum plate. The tape on the reel is about 1/4" wide. I took pictures of each of the reels so your could read the information on each one. The tapes seem to be in excellent condition. There is probably data or programs already on the tapes but I have no way to access the programs or erase the information on them. Lot of 50 TDK SA60 Cassette Tape SA-60 Tapes 60s 70s music IEC High (CR02) Bias
For sale are 50(more than 50 pictured. I have two 50ct lots for sale@ $35 per lot) all are the exact same tape as thoses pictured; SA60. Each tape is only marked with a catalog number, each case also marked on a sticker on reverse label side. As shown all case labes are blank/unused, they have not been flipped over, blank on both sides. Cases and cassettes are in great shape. All recording tabs are removed. These seem to be more inclined to earlier 70 back into the 60's with I guess top 100 stuff, mostly easy listining R&R, country and jazz R&B. Been a mix of recorded albums and mixes but all done well, sounds good enuf they could be copies of Best of/Greatest Hits albums, Best Songs of 1969 or similar. Not come across any metal or classical stuff, all mainstream tunes. Good tapes for recording also, not coming across and fidelity ... moreloss in this batch of blue labels.
