Nice patina on the finished outside, with a few scuffs and scratches from use. Wooden pegs surround small iron fasteners, keeping the bent wood handle on and allowing it to swing. Small dent in dead center of the underside indicates that a compass-like device was used to trace out and cut a perfect circle for the bottom. No lid. There are no marking of any kind to indicate maker or age. Inside of bucket is unfinished wood, but rather smooth, a bit dusty. Please study pictures. A MUST HAVE for any primitive decorated home! Discoloration, staining, missing labeling, some repairs found in areas, scratches to the cork, and tarnishing and denting found to the brass accent pieces. None of these parts fit together; these items come from various poles. The case is scratched. Discolored, stained, and has surface rust found; the case appears to be made of a heavy cardboard. Original old antique Oak wooden BBC The Crystal Radio storage box with labels
This is for an original old antique Oak wooden box used for holding a BBC The Crystal Set for Radio. The storage box is about 22cm x 17cm at the base and the box is about 15.5cm high, it is complete with BBC type approved by post master general transfer label to the front, and complete with inside instruction label, the condition of the box is excellent with no damage although the inside divider is missing along with the crystal set, so just a nice original old BBC box in a good condition.

The key hole metal gaurd is missing but I believe I have one and will send it. It will need a tube key if you are to lock it/that I do not have. White painted on one end and marked"sockets" I suppose when the key was lost it was repurposed for a socket box and had masking tape around itto hold it shut. Antique ceramic Keg Japan moriage slip decor, wooden spout, VG 7x7" lovely
The owner says this is early 20th century. The Hinode, moriage slip decor, a ceramic keg with wooden spigot, very good condition. The cork fell inside, there is slight wear to the inner part of the wooden spout, but no real damage. I am not sure if it was really meant to hold sake or liquid, or if just a decoration. About 7 inches tall and long, weighs almost 2 pounds before packing.

Antique Wooden Steamship Half Hull Model
This antique half hull model of a steamship has a label(not original to the model) that says"schooner rigged coal steamer. Ca. 1895; length 156' beam 25.5' tonnage 300 gross. I have been unable to determine which ship this model was made for, but the ships dimensions seem generally accurate. The model is 41" long and it is on a 45 1/2" long board. It is an authentic half hull model with some layout markings visible on the hull. The hull is a layup of about 11 boards. It has a very nice patina and a warm, honey color glow. Overall a very nice, unique quality maritime item.

Antique Large Zushi Wooden Japanese Buddha Buddhist Altar Shrine Edo Period
This Buddha is in fantastic condition for its age. It stands 18 1/2 inches tall. The gilded surfaces are caked with soot which could be cleaned but I prefer it as shown. There is some paint loss on the right wrist. The right knee and several chips on the base. There are six panels on the lower base that are missing and the very tip of the back plate is gone, also there is a repair where the back plate fits into the base. The back plate is removeable and does fit snuggly into the base. Please see all photos. This piece is between 250 and 400 years old. It has two stones inset into the head one is a clear crystal and the other is a purple stone(amethyst or Tourmaline? The mold is 1” thick. One side of the mold shows what looks to be an oriental carved turtle with oriental writing on the center of the turtle. The other side looks like some type of fruit with leaves protruding out from each side of the stem. On the inside of the fruit is a carved flower. One side of the mold has a carved fish. The Rotch family is responsible for establishing the whaling industry in New Bedford. Both booms are made of 2 separate pieces of wood which show remnants of original copper sails sandwiched between them. Weathervane measure 26" from bow to stern and 21" tall. A very nice vintage pair of ebony wood(I believe) bookends with elephants. The wood appears to be inlayed with small pieces of bone. I would think that these date to the first half of the 20th century. The base and back are dovetailed together. Condition is very nice. Each measures about 5 3/4" by 2 1/2" at the base and stands about 5" tall. Condition is pretty good. One of the elephants is missing a tusk and a piece of inlay for the eye. Both on the same side. They are being offered as found.

Someone has written on the back of the wood backing'Copyright 1885 By Muller Luch Singer' And there's some other writing beside that and I cannot make out what it says.and not sure if I spelled all of the name correctly? But, I did take a picture of the back where this is written on it. Then it looks to have written'New York. 99 C. Picture name Winter Queen Anne Cottage' The wood/wooden etched/beautifully designed frame does look OLD and looks to be from the 1800's.that's my opinion only so please be your own judge. It needs some restoration. But, has so much character and history. There are rub wear places and age related wear, etc. On the bottom back side, there's a dip/worn ... moreplace in the wood. The bottom of one leg is not attached at the gold part. It needs repair work. I do not want to fix and ruin the vintage condition so i will leave for you to repair. Old Antique Black Forest Finely Carved Wooden Lion of Lucerne Here is a finely carved old antique Black Forest wooden figure of the'Lion of Lucerne. This lovely original hand carved lion is finely detailed and hand carved. And measures 5 1/4 inches long by 2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall. It is in good condition. Upon very close inspection the tip of his left front paw has chipped off, but is hard to notice because the wood is quite dark. I have read that in 1820 t he original sculpture of the‘Lion of Lucerne’ was carved into a sandstone face above the town of Lucerne. ANTIQUE TRIBAL CARVED WOODEN MOTHER & BABY AFRICAN / OCEANIC ?
A really unusual carved wooden figure of a mother holding a baby on her back. I have no idea what wood it is but its carved so that one half is dark and the other half is lighter, the baby is facing to the right and light the mother has hollow eyes and ears(baby has one hollow ear because of the ways its carved) inside them is a white or the remains as in the mother of what looks like shell? I have no idea of its origin. Its looks extremely old which I know can be deceiving but my 20 years in the antiques trade tells me it has age and isn't something that was made"yesterday" but I could be wrong, this style of antique isn't my subject of knowledge. Antique Japanese Wooden Scribes Box An antique Japanese wooden lacquered scribes box. It is in brownish red lacquer with raised hand painted gold decoration of cranes and islands. Inside it has 5 compartments. An attractive and lovely item for any collection. In good antique used condition with some losses of lacquer to the underside of the base and to the one corner. Superb Antique Miniature Carved Wood Wooden Hindu Royal Chariot Gods Horses
Magnificent Antique Carved wooden Hindu Royal Chariot with carved wood deity/ God figures-one seated in the chariot and one guiding the chariot and holding the reins of the 4 Horses. The faces and details are superb! on these miniature carvings. The expressions are absolutely lifelike. the chariot seat is an ornately carved throne- antique red textile lines the seat and back and front steps of the chariot. The horses are also magnificently detialed. the two in the back with more ceremonial carvings. The front lower edge of the steps of the chariot has a figural beast head carving. The rope reins still intact and affixed to each horse. There are fine details in the carvings on the chariot wheels and in the little bells dangling on all 4 corners- the finials on either end of the roof of the chariot are also very fine-appears to be a small carved ... moreumbrella figural on the front. A superb piece of craftmanship- total length of the chariot with horses is approx 14 inches long- on wood base-overall length is 16 inches. Estimated date is late 19th Century. Overall in wonderful condition considering its advanced age. The condition issues noted are two missing finials from the roof of the chariot on the back corners and one from the center. One wood slat that connects the chariot to the first horse on the right is missing. The small chain in the front of the horses needs to be re-attached. Each of the two front horses has a crack in one of its legs. The red textile in the chariot shows considerable age. The wood display base it is affixed to shows considerable wear and age. Some staining apparent. There looks to have been something affixed to the base at the side of the chariot that is no longer present. These are what is obvious. Up for bidding is a very unique Wooden Telephone Booth! Inside of this is in excellent condition. All paneling is a+ shape.wooden seat has been refinished. Light and exhaust fan have both been cleaned and work excellently! Glass on the door is in great shape.no scratches or cracks at all. Inside is just ready for a new rotary phone and that's it.floor is excellent and very clean as well. Exterior is in need of new wood side panels. They were removed and not replaced.
