The bottom may be the only thing not original that may have been replaced at some time, it look like a composite of some kind where the rest is solid wood. Also not sure how it is put together however I see no nails but it is sturdy more so than glue points would have been, real tight joints maybe mortised. It measures: 12.5 by 12.5 inches by 16 inches tall. Update: I am not for certain as the piece is not marked. However I think this could be a Stickley piece. Very old antique. Part of a boat's pulley system. Pulley is completely wood. Including the moving parts! And yes, all parts still work and move! It also has the original chain still attached. Chain is a little rusty. But still in awesome condition for the age. It is very heavy(cast iron, maybe) The chain is attached to the pulley by a steel cable rope. The pulley itself is approx. 8" long. And 4-5" wide, and chain is approx. 1.5 feet long. This is an ACTUAL OLD PULLEY. NOT A REPRODUCTION. Great for any collector, or vintage nautical décor!

Wonderful 19th century primitively decorated wooden mortar. Obviously made out of 1 piece of wood. The mortar is quite roughly made. The wooden mortar which stands 6.2 inches tall(15cm) and measures 4 inches(10 cm) across at the top is decorated with a primitive banding in the middle.This mortar has a handle which you don't see very often. It is definitely a mortar though and not a drinking vessel. You can tell by the shape of the bowl on the inside.There is no pestle with the mortar. Old antique 1920s Felix The Cat wooden toy, leather ears and segmented tail.RARE
Hello. Up for bid is what I believe to be an antique 1920s era, Felix The Cat, wooden toy. Very cool and very hard to find, especially in this condition. The condition is very good with most of its original paint. The ears look to be made of hardened leather. They are complete and in very good shape. The wooden parts are all there and in working order. The inner movement pieces seem to be in good shape. No damage that I could see. Toys this old are not my forte, so check out all the photos and ask questions if needed. Felix has a sticker of his name and what looks to be little sheriff badges on the ends. Sticker looks original but I dont know about the sheriff stars. The sticker is complete but wants to partially fall off. Felix was beyond my time. His nose shows a little wear but looks good. Paint is very good. Some age and dust on it but ... morenothing bad. Head moves, arms move, legs move and the segmented tail is very cool and still moves freely. It looks like the whole thing is made of wood except the leather ears and whatever metal hooks are inside his body. Felix even stands on his own. ANTIQUE THREAD BOBBINS from New England thread mill. These bobbins have had a long and usefull life. First as thread bobbind in a water powered thread mill in New England in the 1880's then used as bobbins in the same factory when it became a ribbon factory in the 1950's. Have sat since the 1970's unused, but you can put them back to work in lots of ways. We've sold these to people who have used them for decoration, lamp stands, string/rope spools(ribbon spools! candle stick holders and more. They are 7" tall and 5" diameter. Probably made of birch wood with tin edging as wear surfaces, as you can see in the photos. They haven't been re-finished though it looks like they were originally varnished, but since then when they were used in the ribbon factory they had masking tape used to hold the beginning of the ... moreribbon when was being wound on and the tape pieces are still there. Amazing Vintage Typewriter Desk! This is a very large desk. Approximate measurements are 60" wide x 34" deep x 30" high. It is solid wood and VERY heavy. Offered is a fabulous Antique Wooden Dough Bowl. Circa 1800's. Measures a huge 17 inches by 16 1/4 inches. Slightly ovoid and wonderfully out of round on this early Bowl. Stands nearly 5 inches tall off the table and measures a huge 52 inches around the edge. Has a 1 3/4 inch wide incised collar. Very nice. Beautiful and in good condition with normal wear. Beautiful antique wooden dough bowl from Munising. Painted with folk art. Girl standing near a lake. In researching this I learned that these bowls were made in Munising, MI between 19 11 and 1955. There is no date on the bowl. The Munising name is burned or carved into the bowl. Measures approx. 9" x 8 1/2" x 2. Colors are mainly blue. Some faded or worn paint. Antique As-Found Primitive Wooden Dough Bowl; Rustic 1800s Grungy Old Trencher
We have an honest to goodness barn-find to offer up for bids without reserve! It's a small. Wooden, antique dough bowl in very good, as-found condition. We left it just the way we found it, nothing has been done to it to enhance its appearance. This bowl has that classic, dry, untouched patina that's the result of wear and tear, generations of ground in dirt and grime, and remnants of materials that it once came in contact with. Delightfully grungy and primitive looking, this trencher measures about 18 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 3 1/4 inches high. There are no problems with woodworms, dry rot, or termites. It was hand hewn from a single piece of wood and has carved handles on the ends that add some folksy charm. Each of the handles is missing a small nub on one end and one has a short age split that isn't structurally ... moresignificant. Solid, strong, and rugged, it still a sturdy old bowl. It's just the right size for use as a centerpiece on a small table, you can change the look from time to time by displaying different items inside it. Antique Vintage Brass Interlocking Stencil Sets Wooden Box letters and numbers
Selling for Habitat for Humanity Restore in Hardin County Kentucky Brass Stencils in Wooden Box You get all the stencils shown in the pictures plus some spacers and punctuation marks. The stencils in the first three pictures are 1" stencils and the larger set of numbers are 3" The box is 10" x 7" x 2" with dove tail corners and a sliding top. It looks like a military issue with the federal specifications number and also a date stamped on the end of Oct 1956. It most likely came from Fort Knox Army installation as it was part of a donation of other drafting/engineering supplies that were in a large ugly olive drab green file cabinet that weighed a ton. Lucet2 Antique Carved Wooden Lucet English* Circa 1800 A lucet was a tool for making a braided cord that could be used for trim or lacing. This one is carved of fruitwood or boxwood and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is very smooth to the touch with a nice patina and has obviously been much handled. The shape is lovely and it dates to the late 18th- early 19th century. It measures 3 3/4" tall by 2" wide. Instructions for using one(and some pictures) are shown on pp. 72-73 of Nerylla Taunton's book Antique Needlework Tools.
