Very Nice and Very Clean. Has been tested and will be re-tested prior to shipping if you buy one(quantity available) Was originally a 50 ton hand pump press. It is now equipped with an SPX air over oil pump rated to 3200 PSI. There is a 3000 PSI gauge on the press. At 3000 PSI the press would generate 42 tons. To get full tonnage requires approx 100 PSI of air pressure. Clamp cylinder is 6" bore with approx 6" max stroke. The daylight between the platens is approx 10" The electrically heated platens are 13" x 13" and rated to 600F(2400 watts each) The press speeds are approx 3 IPM closing and 1 IPM opening. There is a pendant control with close/open buttons. Two Watlow temperature controllers. From the bottom of the press to the bottom platen is approx 24" The overall dimensions are approx 26" x 26" ... morex 58" tall. Approx 1500 pounds. Heater circuit runs on 220 volt; single phase. If the heated platens aren't required-the press only needs air to operate.

This is a very well built air over hydraulic press. The air comes into a double cavity cylinder and compounds the pressure(10) times. It is then transferred into a press cylinder and ends up with 100.000 lbs. of pressure. The frame is very heavily constructed. The prints on the electric are dated 2003. It has an Allen- Bradley touch screen that makes it possible to control the length of the stroke and the amount of pressure that you wish to generate. I also have the program for PLC. This machine is hooked up and is available for inspection and operation. When we cycled the press, we got a cycle time of approximately(2) seconds, down and up. C-Frame Hydraulic Press For your consideration is a large. Heavy built, late model Hydraulic C-Frame Press that operated fine up to the time of it's removal and could continue to fill a wide variety of applications. The frame is substantially built with very thick side walls and extra heavy landing areas. It looks like it has a capacity well beyond the 20K LB load cell it's equipped with, but that is up to the future owner to determine. The 10 horsepower Hydraulic System is as equally endowed with high quality, heavy duty, components. This is a nice piece of equipment but presently not operational because of certain controls having been removed. T hose removed amount to proximity and limit sensors/switches from a previous process that utilized a central process controller which were re-purposed by the previous owner. I believe that ... moret o make this press operational a simple control system could be restored and much of what might be needed to do so is actually still present. For instance the electric/hydraulic control valves mounted on the hydraulic power pack appear to be complete; motor starters and other devices still remain in the control cabinet; and the hydraulic pump system. With supply and return lines, is complete. Also included is the 20.000 LB Range Honeywell Load Cell with it's very heavy steel landing components, all detachable. The Press and Hydraulic Power Pack are offered as pictured. And the pictures take precedence over any other description.
