VINTAGE YELLOW VASELINE GLASS HAND BLOWN LEMONADE PITCHER LARGE SIZE 6-1/2 X 9
Very nice vintage or antique hand blown pitcher. I have only sold green and blue vaseline glass in the past and also EAPG. But this is the first time I have come across yellow vaseline glass. At least I am pretty certain it is. It is quite large and of a very nice quality. It has a bright glow under a black light, so I know it contains some uranium and it may be quite old. I have seen a couple of Webb glass pieces that have similar styling, but I honestly do not know if this would be Webb or not. Hopefully, someone out there will know. Condition is very good without any scratches. Chips or breakage. Anything you see in the bright one taken in the sun is lint and reflections. Stands tall at 9 inches and the mout h is 6 inches wide rim to rim. The color was almost impossible to capture which is why I have so many pictures. I tried it in many ... moretypes of light. The base is a deep bright yellow that graduates to an almost clear glass at the widest part at the b ottom of the main portion and then it graduates again towards t he top to a beautiful shade of a yellow amber with a green cast to it in certain light. Carlsbad Maria Theresia open vegetable bowl; 9" X 6"; very good
Kaiserin Maria Theresia 9" open serving bowl has no chips. Cracks or stains. There is some wear to the gold trim around the edge of the rim and to the line inside the bowl. There are also about a dozen fine utensil scratches in the bottom. The bowl is 6" wide at the widest point and stands 2: high. There is a spot about the size of a half dollar near the bottom on the side with no glaze. The area is still white. I am also listing a matching one is the same condition but with complete glaze. There is no dark spot on the left of the bowl. I photographed outside and that is a random shadow. I try to ship within 1 day of clearing of payment or the weekend. 9 pc Fire King Jadeite CHARM set-3 6 5/8" plates, C&S, Sugar & Creamer, & Bowls!
This is a set of Fire King Jadeite CHARM pieces in good to great used condition! The plates have minimal signs of use. There are some minor signs of use on the surface of the saucer and the cup had a chip on a corner opposite the handle. There are a few rough spots along the rim and the spout of the creamer and each of the Sugar&Creamer handles have a perfect line around the handles near the top that appears to be part of the manufacturing process but I can't completely rule out stress cracks. The 6" Bowl is in wonderful condition. The 7 3/8" bowl has a defect from the manufacturing process on one corner-a raised area that is partly smooth but feels a bit rough in spots. They are all shiny inside and out with no chips. Cracks, or flea bites that I could find unless mentioned above. None of them are marked Fire King and have ... moreno markings on the bottom. This set of 9 ruby red plates are in good to very good used condition. All have ground and polished bottoms. They measure 6 3/4 inches in diameter. The clarity of the glass is clear. There are no breaks. Although there is minor scratch wear-not uncommon to used plates. There are also a few very minor flea bites and one slightly larger chip on the ground bottom edge of 1 plate- not visible on the top. These plates are beautiful with Rich ruby red color. authentic glassware of the Depression Era Queen Mary Pink Dinner Plates Set/6 from Anchor Hocking Glass Co. excellent condition for use or collection Welcome to Simpler Times Antiques! Here today for your consideration we're proud to offer this lovely set of six pink glass dinner plates from the Queen Mary glassware line by Anchor Hocking. Queen Mary was produced from about 1936 until sometime in 1949. It's a pressed glass pattern with design motif of prismatic ribs that catch the light for a beautiful optic effect. Our plates measure about 9.875" in diameter. The lot consists of a set of six matching pieces. A close look here shows these plates to be in excellent condition. All are free from any chips. Cracks, or repairs. We noted no hard water film or other discoloration. All have good pink color that's strong and even ... morethroughout each plate. Scratches from utensils or stacking are very minimal. It's obvious that these plates have been gently used and properly cared for. On close inspection you'll note a few minor factory blemishes as the center surfaces of several of these are a bit less than mirror smooth. These aren't damaged, but simply represent the degree of quality control(or lack thereof) commonly seen in mass produced Depression Era glassware. All in all this is a very nice set of plates that presents quite well. We feel like they'll easily please hostess and collector alike. Beautiful gold Art Nouveau floral motif with very thin black outline and detailing. The white ground of the center of the plate is softened by an ivory area between the outside edge of the floral design and the gold rims. ... moreI tried to capture it in the pictures. This slight difference between the two"whites" gives these plates a very elegant look. They are a nice size. Appropriate for a salad or dessert course, as well as an light entrée. CONDITION: Amazingly. Wear to the gold is extremely minimal. Only one significant spot shown in photo. There are some tiny irregularities in the porcelain as made. One plate has a tiny black scratch in the center. No chips or crazing, but one plate does have a hairline crack, just barely noticeable on the front of the plate. I didn't even notice it at all until I was photographing the backs of the plates. The hairline runs from the edge to the foot(and the same distance on the front although most of it is covered by a gold flower) To get it to show in the photos, I had to take the plate into full natural sunlight.
