Up for bid is a very slightly used Quantum Energy PT E100SPT right handed with a 6.3:1 gear ratio. The reel also has a flipping switch. I bought the reel as a back up and only used it 2 times so it is in excellent shape mechanically. He wrote the book"The bamboo rod& how to build it" and here is one of his rods. And its a dandy. This rod is hexagonal and in exceptional, original condition with both tips. I think its had a reel on it. but if it was fished. I don't think so! This rod came to me from an estate of a non bamboo rod maker, its one of 9 different bamboo rods he aquired over the years. The butt section. Midsection, and one tip measure 30 11/16" The other tip is 30 10/16" all sections are very uniform. The stripping guide is red agate. There are no repairs of any kind anywhere on this rod. The cork is superb and very clean as seen in pictures. a high grade of cork as well. The varnish{finish} is in very good condition. It looks like walnut wood at the reel seat. All the metal pieces on this rod are shiny, clean, and show no corrosion, ... moreincluding the guides and tips. The ferrules are tight and the guides are tight. The wrappings are very nice with the acception of a tiny issue at the butt section ferrule as seen in pictures. Overall this rod is very"sweet. I put it together and it has quite a feel to it, very delicate with a wonderful action. It comes with its original tube and rod sock. Any questions please ask, I will do my best to answer. This is a Johnson brand. Pack-in type, Fly rod and reel. This combination came from an estate sale here in western Oregon. This rod/reel is in very good condition. The rod breaks down into six short fifteen and one half inch(15 1/2) sections. Put together the rod is 6' 6" long. The reel is loaded with yellow fly line with a leader attached. It appears to be the original fly line. The reel operates freely with no sticking or dragging. This rod is probly about 20 yr. old. This rod& reel is in very good condition. It appears it was probly used once then left in the closet. There are no visable scratches or blemishes on the rod or reel. The foam handle is clean with no chips. Nicks, or cuts. This rod& reel combo has been stored in a closet in a bedroom for pretty much all its life. I did use a soft paint brush to brush off the"closet ... moredust" This rod& reel would be great to carry on pack in trips in the high country or stuck in your day pack on a long hike. Restored Split Bamboo Fly Rod 3/1-8' 6"- 5 wt
This is a newly restored split bamboo fly rod in three piece with single tip eight and a half foot long in five weight. We don't know the original maker but by the ferrules its was high end. The ferrules are all nickle silver and pop nicely the cane is lightly flammed. We replaced the cork and reelseat with a nickle silver twin ring on a maple wood insert and a full well cork grip in"A" grade.We used blued line guides and tip top the stripper is chrome and the hookeeper is silver ring type. The cane is finished with three coats of spar varnish and is wrapped in brown silk. We lawn cast the rod and suggest five weight DT line the action is medium fast.

The mystery of the unknown Piccolo! Unless it was made by inspected by# which is inside the shell. It looks like a Groove Percussion. Rogers, TKO, and even Yamaha. It is an older drum, you can tell the chrome aging slightly. It has a few small scrapes, and a small button size flake off, but barely noticable. These are in the photos, it has a nice newer Remo(which could be another maker head on it) Everything works fine, it is a 13 X 3 6 lug drum. It's very attractive, cool lugs! This will stay in the US. Unless you must have it in Spain, then email me! Maybe the player lost their sponsership deal and ripped the label off. I don't remember seeing it in the trades?
