Vintage Antique 1950 Hard Plastic 8.5" Unmarked Doll France with vintage letter!
VINTAGE DOLL with fascinating letter of documentation- This little doll stands 8 1/2" tall and is in wonderful condition for its age. It has a letter written in 1950 by the sister of the recipient as a gift to her sister. The letter states that the doll was designed by Christian Dior. It goes on to say it was made by the seamstress of the Dior Salon at Nice. France. Purchased in Nice, France in September 1950. You can read the letter if you click on the photo. The sleepy eyes are not moving. The hair needs a little delicate combing. The outfit is in mint condition. The plastic body is all there with just a small age crack by the eye.
