According to my research. This little, two-handled vase was made in Japan between the years of 1921-1945. The vase is in vivid blues, greens, and yellows. It depicts cherubs picking fruit in a garden with birds flying overhead. The bottom of the vase states, MADE IN JAPAN" and the number 14. I did my research at BluebirdGardens.com. The author, states: Made in Japan items were produced before World War II and after 1947. Their markings are inconsistent and sometimes nonexistent. In 1891, the US McKinley Tariff Act required all wares to carry the mark of the country of origin. This applied to all countries exporting goods to the US including Japan. Nippon" is the Japanese word for"Japan. Japanese ware marked Nippon in general were made from 1891-1921. The words"made in" were added after 1921. Extremely Rare United States Coast Guard Standing Egg Cup. I have not seen one of these kind of egg cups sell on Ebay in several years. It has Coast Guard emblem on one side. With United States Coast Guard 1790 in it. There are 2 green and one reddish-brown stripe going around just below the top. There is no writing on the bottom. It stands about 4 1/4 inches tall. The mouth at the top of the egg cup measures 2 3/4 inches across. And the mouth at the bottom of the egg cup measures 2 inches across. There are no chips or cracks, it looks fantastic! Thanks! These vintage hat pins are steel. With a few rust spots on the pins. The pearl colored head of one pin has a very small chip on one side where the pearl color is missing. One of the black pins is chipped where the glass bead meets the metal. It is the smooth tear drop shaped one. The black glass"swirl" pin head is in excellent shape. Antique Art Deco Rock Crystal Sterling Bezel Converted Earrings 4 1/2 inches DOT
Earrings made from an Antique Art Deco Rock Crystal Bracelet. In our opinion the bracelet was just too fragile(not due to age but due to the thickness of connection rings used) to be worn as it was originally intended. The settings are open-back sterling embossed settings. We left the connectors at the bottom so they can be redone in the future. Left these long intentionally as they have lots of sparkle. About 4 1/2 inches from top of the sterling finding to the bottom. Stones are tested as rock crystal(antique clear topaz) No chips or breaks that we can see, this item has been cleaned(soap and water) light patina on the sterling settings. About 9.6 grams. This is a great STATEMENT bracelet designed in Sterling Silver with 4 pieces of beautiful green JADE and 2 pieces of white JADE. The curved rectangular jade tiles measures apx. 3/4 inch x 1 inch. The oval jade measures apx. 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch and the bracelet has lovely detailing in the sterling silver. It is held together by hinges and has a sliding clasp in excellent working order. In today’s auction we are featuring an outstanding vintage Murano glass stickpin that has a beautiful shimmering iridescent pattern of brown. Black and gold. This unique. Colorful item is the result of high caliber craftsmanship and is glorious to behold. This beautiful stickpin measures approximately 4-1/8” in length and has an approximate width of 7/8” This wonderful stickpin’s beauty is further enhanced by the addition of two pearls; one above and below the Murano glass. This elegant stickpin is previously used and is in very nice condition. We are noting the presence of some very light scratches that are the result of normal handling. There are no chips. Cracks or nicks in evidence on the Murano glass from what we can see. A beautiful piece of utilitarian art from a time long past.
