This graceful statue was purchased in an open market in Katmandu. When I bought the figure. All of the surface was completely black so you could not see any of the details. Including the fierce face of this warrior, monk or priest? I think it is Buddhist because the statue sits on a lotus leaf base While I think it is old, I do know its exact age. The condition is very good but there is a small hole(the size of a pin hole near the base on the left side.

VINTAGE CHALKWARE ELEPHANT CLOCK. ABOUT 11 3/4 INCHES TALL. This chalkware clock is about 11 and 3/4 inches tall. With a base that's about 11 and 3/4 by 3 and 3/4 inches. This old clock is still in really nice condition. But it does have two flaws. The tusk on the left side elephant has a sliver of the outer plaster. About 1/2 by 1/4 of an inch, chipped away. I believe it could be repaired. But not by myself. Also. The original clock works had been removed and replaced with a photo. I did replace the clock with a newer electric clock works. It's a nice piece of collectible vintage chalkware. But I haven't used it for several years. It may need cleaning since all I ever did was dust it. Not wanting to mess up the finish.
