I have a size 5. 3 piece vest suit by Dockers. This suit was never worn. It has a light weight white dress shirt, black pants and red sweater vest with stripes. The pants are 27" long with an 18" inseam and a 10" elastic waist. Along with this I have added two pairs of dress pants, shirt and ties. Judging by the style and the other clothing that was at the sale I would guess it's from the 1960s. The pants were a total of 40" long and the waist was 30" 15" doubled over and measured) I didn't measure the vest but the jacket was 18" from shoulder to shoulder and the arms measured 28" long. A suit for a thin man- or woman. I apologize if these are not standard measurements. Both of these wedding garments are 113 years old and it is amazing that one family has kept watch over them through all of the moves and generations to date. The items are still remarkably well preserved though each has its age wear. Over a century ago, a happy couple started their lives together and we are now offering them for auction. BRIDE’S ENSEMBLE The two piece. Brown outfit features a ruffled skirt with button closure and a ribbon for hiking up the skirt when needed. We are unsure of the fabric, but it is of a heavier weight. The skirt is lined with a peach colored fabric. There are some random small holes on the back side and one at the front ruffle. There is some wear at the inner waist band. There are a few small random stains on the skirt lining. There is an eye on the back of the skirt, which attaches the jacket. Those belonging to the great grandmother who is no longer with us, to the grandmother, down to the middle age daughters and now grown grandaughters if that gives you any clue as to how old some of this clothing is. This particular outfit belonged to the great grandmother and was worn back in the early sixties. It is comprised of a straight pencil skirt which measures 26" in the waist, has darts front and back for tailored fit and is 26" long. The top zips up the back, has cap sleeves and measures 36" across the bust. It is 21" long. The swing jacket has two faux flap pockets in front and closes at the top with a golden clasp. It also measures 36" in the bust, has 3/4 length sleeves and is 21.5" long. Material appears to be a woolen jersey knit, but ... morethat's only a guess because there are no labels of any kind remaining with this outfit.
