Lots of subdued luster remains under the natural toning. Very suitable for a spot in a nice type set. I gladly combine shipping charges for multiple lots purchased on the same day. The base has the number 2864. The rim has numbers 901st. 71/8, and 2 3/8. The mold is in 3 pieces with the block being a 2 piece puzzle. There are scratches and some imperfections. The cake plate does have some tarnish that I did not try to clean fearing it mat hurt it's collect-ability. I'm down scaling to an apartment and must let some of my treasures go. Antique French Porcelain Gilt Metal Mantel Clock Set 3 Piece ala Sevres PINK
This nice quality late 1800s clock set was inspired by rococo designs inset with Sevres plaques. The clock measures 13 ¼” x 8 ½” x 5 ½” overall with each of the garnitures 11” x 4 ½” x 4 ½” and is made of gilt bronze plated cast white metal or spelter with wonderfully fluid Louis XVI inspired designs. You will note wear and verdigris on the finish of the metal. But no losses. There are smears of very old gold paint and some old paint spatters as well. The top openwork c-scroll appears to have been re-attached. Its hand painted and transfer porcelain is a very attractive pink with raised genuine gold accents and none of the work is chipped or cracked. There is some minor expected wear to the gilt and the set is pretty dirty. The works are intact and marked AD MOUGIN with star as shown. A pretty 3 piece dressing table set.from around the early 1900's? The set is decorated with large pink and white flowers with foliage on a brown& cream background. On the front, the backs are plain.they originally had gilt edging which has now nearly all worn off. The large lidded bowl has two hairline cracks across the base& up the sides. And two small chips around the inside of the rim. The small lidded bowl has a tiny chip near its outside rim(see photo) The Scent bottle has no chips or cracks and has its original cork stopper. Vintage Floral Hand Painted Milk Glass Lamp 3 way feature NICE PIECE!!
This was a nice find at a Estate of a 80+ year old woman. The Vintage Milk Glass lamp has a Beautiful Hand Painted Floral design. The lamp has age wear on the metal base and around the shade holder but is common in older pieces and I feel it give it character. There was no lamp shade but it was to pretty to pass up and not offer to potential buyers. You can easily obtail a shade at a thrift store or second hand store as I have seen them often. The lamp is made for a shade to simply slide over the bulb and rest on the shade holder. The age is truly seen in the older style cord and plug but they are in good condition no cuts.
